Our home was destroyed by a falling tree. After a great deal of research and many interviews, we were extremely fortunate to find Signature Custom Homes. The scope of our project was quite extensive and required a contractor with extensive knowledge, who was able to think outside the box, as our home is very unconventional.. While major remodeling is inherently stressful, Bill and Becky are an incredible team who made the process an educational and pain-free process through their diligence, patience and dedication. Their level of knowledge and expertise simply inspires well-earned trust. The quality of work done was consistently top notch. Both Bill and his workers are affordable, skilled, conscientious and meticulous. He has an old school work ethic, and emphasized doing the job right the first time. He remained closely involved in overseeing the entire project. His excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and commitment to follow-through are assets which enabled him to juggle the extensive details involved in our difficult project without missing a beat. It would not have been possible to achieve the desired result, without Becky’s enthusiasm and commitment to homeowner satisfaction in every single detail of the project. Her knowledge base on every aspect of the repair, from appliances, flooring, granite, tile, cabinets and everything else has been downright astonishing. She listens attentively and always demonstrated responsiveness to our needs while sharing her extensive experience. In a world where shoddy workmanship and poor service are unfortunately all too common, Signature Custom Homes is indeed a rare find. My wife and I stumbled upon a view property in 2018, so we gave 2 builders a call, one of them being Signature Custom Homes. Even during the feasibility period for the land, they set themselves apart from the other builder, so we hired them to build our home. We've had the privilege of interacting with several people on their team: Bill, Becky, Anthony, Mike, etc. They are truly a world-class company. We were very pleased with all of their work from the initial plan designs, ideas they provided along the way, attention to detail, and of course the finished product. They had a perfect balance of providing their input, yet allowing us to make decisions. I believe it says a lot about the company when you drive by your project on the weekends and the owners of the company are there working. Their communication was excellent every step of the way, and even now that we're moved in, they continue to come back and make sure everything is just how we want it. I just completed construction of my new single family residence with Signature Custom Homes and am very excited to move into my new home in West Seattle. I am very much satisfied and would highly recommend Signature Custom Homes (SCH). My project in West Seattle consisted of demolition of an existing 1919 1,800 square foot home on a dead end street and construction of a 2,600 square foot home . The lot is a steep slope site classified as an environmentally critical site. This added significant complexity to the permitting, excavation, and construction process. In addition, I was out of state on a work assignment during the planning and construction timeframe. SCH has exceeded all of my expectations. SCH exceeded expectations on quality of all aspects of the construction, from foundation to detail finishes. SCH was successful in meeting cost and schedule commitments, kept me well informed while out of state, and minimized disruption to my neighbors.Seattle Department of Planning imposed additional constraints on excavation and SCH was able to develop and execute a plan with minimal cost and schedule impact. Since I was out of state on an extended work assignment and returned once a month, it was critical to keep me informed and work directly with my neighbors to minimize disruption. During the 1 year process, there was only one incident with a subcontractor that was addressed by SCH.Mike Clow served as project manager and was on site every day to supervise SCH personnel and oversee subcontractors. I appreciated continuity and having a single point of contact. Mike epitomizes SCH attention to detail and commitment to quality.Bill Hines took special interest in several of the key wood working design and build issues including built in book shelves and most importantly he oversaw the detail design and build of my stair case. During the construction process, I took several friends thru the home who had more home building experience than myself and each commented on the high quality of the work and attention to structural details. The house is extremely solid and energy efficient. Attention to details was excellent Examples include tile/grouting, matching wood stains, plumbing fixture installation, tile installation and wood floorings.Again, I am very happy with my new home and highly recommend Signature Custom Homes.

We recently completed a custom home project with Signature Custom Homes. We were looking for a new home in the Kennydale area and met Bill Hines on a tractor working on a lot in the area. Bill had his son Anthony call us and Anthony showed us several houses Signature Custom Homes built in the area. We were impressed with the work and craftmanship of the homes.
