Purchased 4 sliding glass doors and 12 casement windows from the Marshalltown location. Windows had life time warranty - all of the window glass needed to be replaced with in a year. That was done - no problem. Warranty did not cover the labor to remove and replace the glass in all of the casements (should have read the warranty better). 5 years later all of the casement glass needs to be replaced again, it appears the low-E film is de-laminating form the inside of the window. Spent almost a year with multiple trips to location to photograph different areas of the windows, latches, hinges, hand crank, I.D. tags, etc. Of course all of these requests were on different occasions, multiple emails and phone calls. Finially met with window rep. and manager of Sphan and Rose at location. Again, multiple trips to location for photos, most of which were duplicates of previos photots. Still nothing resolved. At a Dead end with manufacturer, Manager of Span and Rose says nothing else they can do. End result during the sale of the building - had to deduct $10,000.00 from the sale price to replace the entire defective window units, replace trim, and repaint. Sphan and Rose use to be my supplier for all of my building supplies for more than 15 years - Not Anymore - will not do business with a Company that will not stand behind their products.

We have used Spahn & Rose for several years as a supplier on a wide range of landscape installation projects. Their excellent customer service is always appreciated and the free delivery saves us time and money.

I read an add for a Milwaukee tool set in a flyer, and called them, to see if they could hold one for me. They did and had it waiting for me. I was very pleased with the way they took care of me!!

I worked with Maria on my bathroom remodel. Not only was she helpful with style choices when I was undecided, but she did a very good job communicating when everything would be finished. Allowing me to take samples of the countertop and vanity door was great to see it in my own lighting and with our flooring. She also matched the faucet that I was reusing with the new vanity top which fits perfectly. We are really happy with the outcome and love our new bathroom!

Spahn & Rose in Cresco has a very knowledgeable staff. It is very fast on deliveries and stocks a very large inventory of supplies.

From start to finish, Emily at Spahn & Rose consistently went above and beyond her job description to help us with our major kitchen remodeling project as well as two bathroom. She spent a lengthy amount of time with us (without interruptions) to help us design a functioning and stylish kitchen as well as baths. She called us a number of times with suggestions for some changes after taking the time to relook at our design. The Omega cupboards arrived in a very timely fashion and are beautiful. We did have a couple blemishes however, Rich, the sales rep from Omega came to our house and did a meticulous inspection of the cupboards. Rich agreed right away to replace the two doors with small indentations. Not only that, he recommended that a couple more doors be replaced when neither my husband or myself saw anything wrong with them. He stated Omega has a very high standard of excellence and came back himself to replace them. We couldn't have been more pleased with the product and customer service we have received. In closing, I would highly recommend working with Emily and all the employees at Spahn & Rose.

We live in a home that was built in the 60's and do periodic remodeling/improvement projects. We chose Spahn & Rose in Cresco because of their reputation and experience with the owner. This particular project included replacing a sliding patio door, 5 other entry doors and a wooden interior door. Emily is who we were fortunate enough to work with. She made our selection easy by showing us catalog pictures, dimensions to fit, options of quality, colors to choose from and pricing. She was also helpful in the samples of door handles-many of which were in stock to look at on the sample doors. She went above and beyond stopping at our New Hampton home to bring us stain samples for the wooden interior door so it would match the stain on the metal interior door. It was nice to learn that the interior side of the metal door could be stained to match the other wood trim, which we also custom ordered, pre-stained to size from Spahn & Rose with Emily's help. Everything fit perfectly and came together just as we hoped. We will continue to utilize Spahn & Rose in Cresco and look forward to working with them again on other projects!

Emily has done a fantastic job with everything that we have asked from her. She did a blueprint for a sun room that we are currently building and also re-vamped our master bedroom & bath and spare room into a very nice sized master suite for our home. She has always been helpful and has had great ideas and suggestions! Thanks Emily for everything!

I have worked with Emily at the Spahn and Rose store in Cresco, IA on many projects. She has always been very helpful and responsive to my needs.
