I just moved into a new apartment a few months ago and needed some help getting it organized and making it look nice. My experience with Alex and Bobby, from the first phone call through the many emails and three visits, was fantastic. Bobby immediately locked in on the style I was going for but couldn't articulate well, helped me select the perfect items to fill out the space, and put in a lot of labor to make sure everything was in its right place and looking great. Now I look forward to spending time at home and having guests over to enjoy the space with me. Highest recommendation!

I am working with a client who used Alex as her designer for the gut renovation and interior design of a New York apartment. Alex is a skilled designer who did a beautiful job of creating a finely calibrated palette, and then of sourcing finish materials and furnishings that lend the space visual richness -- layers of texture and color. It is subtle, tasteful and sophisticated. The furniture was thoughtfully curated, Her execution was highly organized and she worked to ensure that all of the subcontractors and vendors were economical with her client's time. Alex was also just a pleasure to work with -- high energy, fun and able to surmount obstacles with good humor. I meet a lot of designers in my work; rarely do I see all of these skills and traits combined in one professional.

This was my first time working with a professional organizer and I was nervous. Alex was on point. She helped me re-arrange my bedroom to maximize my space and helped me pick out a beautiful wooden dresser to replace my temporary dresser (which was so out of place both in size and color). She provided various tiers of pricing options, which helped me stay within a budget I was comfortable with. We hung up artwork on the walls, measured out ideal spacing arrangements, got rid of excess/unnecessary items, etc. We even spent some time organizing my jewelry. Alex made it a fun experience instead of having it feel like a chore, so we were able to get a lot done in the 2 hours she was here. Most importantly, Alex really listened to what I had in mind and how I intended to use the space. Never once did I feel self-conscious about my messy room or lack of organization. I actually invited her to come back to my apartment for a follow-up. She wanted to see how I was feeling about the changes and she also wanted to help me with the additional adjustments I wanted to make. Having the follow-up appointment was amazing, because it made the tasks feel less overwhelming and allowed me time to soak in the changes. I learned a bunch of valuable tips from Alex that I'm sure I'll be using around the apartment. I definitely want to invite her back for her advice on the other rooms in my apartment.

Spruce professional organizing did an amazing job helping my family organize our apartment. Alex was extremely efficient and helped us maximize our storage space. We had an entry closet that was being underutilized and Alex came up with innovative ways on how we could better utilize the closet and increased our clothing storage significantly. She also aided in helping us get rid of unnecessary items in order to prepare for our future move. Spruce's pre move prep was extremely helpful and Alex even came to our new home to look at our closests and storage space and helped us plan how to organize every item once the move was complete. She was a pleasure to work with!

Alex is an absolute professional. Over time our little apartment was turning into an overstuffed closet. We recently had a baby, and needed to clean out space for a nursery. With Alex's help we were able to get rid of stuff we forgot we even had. We finally have a place for everything, and eliminated a lot of excess junk. We made room for the baby -- and not only that, Alex turned the nursery into a warm, colorful, functional room for the new guy. Our apartment isn't huge -- we have a two bedroom in New York City. Being home with the baby, I could feel the close quarters quickly. But Alex made the small space feel spacious and inviting. I cannot recommend Spruce enough, especially if you live in a smaller place like we do. Alex has a great manner -- she is patient and encouraging, and really works with you to make her service work for you. Cleaning the apartment was easy and actually fun. I really don't enjoy cleaning or organizing, and am generally slammed at work and catching up on the weekends, so Alex managing to make the experience enjoyable was quite a feat. Thanks to Spruce, our home feels like a new place! Thank You Alex!!

Alex was an absolute pleasure to work with and highly professional. She came into my home office and closets and completely re organized in the best way and met all of my needs. I highly recommend working with Alex, she was super efficient and made a stressful process an extremely enjoyable experience.

I recently moved into a room in which my bed took up most of my room and my closet was ill-equipped to handle all my girlfriend's and my clothes. I called Alex to come for 45 minutes and help me figure out how to organize my clothes and stuff most efficiently with the small space I had. Within minutes of arriving she had several easy and cost efficient suggestions. For example, for my closet she advised I remove some shelves and install a hanging bar to maximize my hanging space and repurpose my shelves on the top half of my closest where I still had a tall unused space. These were all intuitive suggestions and so easy to implement that I was actually able to do them within a week, even with my busy schedule. For her first visit she focused on my bedroom and closet space, I can't wait to see how she'll be able to help me organize with my bathroom and living room.
