Several years ago, we saw Tim's personal home on a house tour. It was by far our favorite home that day. We hired Tim a couple of years later when we wanted to build a second home in the Texas Hill Country. We wanted a family getaway where we could host family and friends — space for being together as well as separate areas for retreat from the larger group gatherings. We needed the ability to host many guests but also wanted the spaces to feel cozy and welcoming. Tim and his team designed a home that surpassed our expectations. The design is impeccable. Our home is spacious yet intimate. It's both sunny and bright and dark and moody. It's our refuge and inspiration. Working with Tim and his team was an absolute pleasure. We hope we can work together on another project in the future.

We engaged Tim Cuppett Architects to help us find a space solution for our growing family, we had outgrown our small ranch house and with a second child on the way, it was soon going to exceed maximum capacity. We had seen their work throughout the city and they came highly recommended by friends and industry professionals in Austin. We were open to remodeling or a complete rebuild when Tim met with us to discover our needs, wants and wishes. He was determined to find a solution that was custom-built for us, which was imperative to us, as we had met with other architects determined to fit us into one of their boxes, literally. Tim initially presented us with options for a remodel and ultimately, as a team, we decided to teardown and rebuild in order to get the space, look and feel we craved. The project itself took 13-months and was truly an enjoyable process with an exceptional outcome. We ended up with a modern design with traditional materials. It's designed with symmetrical precision, giving us all the benefits of an open, spacious floor plan and reinforced with the trusted quality of traditional materials. I know we had a very different experience than most doing similar projects with different teams in the area, and for that I'm extremely grateful. This was my first time building house, and working with Tim, Dave and Adrianna (as well as their project managers) for over 2 years was an excellent first experience. The TCA team is assuredly experts in their field, but they also took into consideration our opinions and needs, which allowed the house to develop organically into a true one-of-a-kind home. Having an in-house designer was important to me as we were able to select finishes, fixtures and even our paint colors early in the process which cut down on change orders and delays. The other element to TCA's model that facilitated clear and consistent communication between us, our builder and TCA was having a dedicated on-site manager. Dave, a partner at TCA, was excellent at driving the project through any unexpected changes or delays, we felt like we had a strong advocate in him throughout the build. We hired Tim Cuppett Architects because their of their exceptional, creative work and expected to end up with a beautiful house, but we didn't expect the other more collaborative aspects of the the project to be as inclusive or thorough as the TCA team provides to clients. I would recommend them to anyone who desires innovative creativity and professional expertise.

We used Tim Cuppett to design our new house. We were downsizing and moving from the suburbs to the city. We knew we wanted a more modern style, but also wanted our house to fit into the ambience of the established street. We wanted to stand out and fit in. Tim created a lovely modern bungalow. Our house literally stops traffic. I often look out my front windows to find people looking at and taking pictures of our house. You often hear horror stories about building a house. Our experience was so different. It was a fun filled adventure. Tim listened to our needs, and created the perfect house for us. He pulled us in a more modern direction, all the while keeping the charm of the past. The classic details with a modern edge make the design. The color choices are flattering and unique. The team was very good about spending money on the important details, and sourcing more reasonable option when possible. Their help with the furnishing completed the look. No detail was to small to attend to and it shows. Through out the building process, the Cuppett team was there to problem solve solutions. They were patient and attentive, answering all question in a timely manner. Their follow up was excellent. We would use them again and whole heartily recommend their services.

Tim Cuppett and his team are brilliant and professional. Before starting our project, they took the time to learn how our family lives, and what aspects of our living space are important to us. They added their own ideas to our wishlist, and I can't imagine our house without these touches. The team was attentive and wonderful to work with throughout the entire project life cycle.

Tim Cuppett is a true professional and always a pleasure to work with on projects large and small. I started working with Tim with one property to help improve the overall aesthetic. The home was built by a shipbuilder with lots of wood, but a little too much rustic. He really helped with a few simple changes, and later plans for an extensive remodel. He consulted with us and my husband and I decided that starting with another home would be a better option. Tim helped us beautify and soften our contemporary city home. He really cared about each project and was willing to wait for the BIG project, and next time it would be great just to work with him on a direct design and build. Adriana Chetty, a highly-skilled Cuppett designer, had a huge role in the furnishings, decor and improvements on the interior and exterior of our city home and I can call her for anything we need to keep the home current and refreshed. The whole Cuppett team is responsive and respectful. They are the best, all the excellence with a gracious and caring delivery.

We hired them to build our house, and we loved the project that they made for us and the service that they have given Us since the begining until now has been amazing. We also hired them to help us with the interior design of the house, and they have been great!

We are a high-end custom home builder currently collaborating with Tim Cuppett Architects on a gorgeous home in West Austin. Tim helped choose paint colors for a remodel and chose roof material. I still get compliments on the colors he chose.

Tim and his team provided everything from great design, help selecting a builder, and overseeing the construction process for my new house. The whole team was incredible to work with and they really shielded me from some of the bumps that naturally occur when working on a large project.
