Tailored Spaces Kitchen and Bath

Having worked with Paul for many years in the Kitchen and Bath industry I have nothing but praise for him. He has unmatched attention to detail coupled with exceptional design ability. In our pre-construction and design meetings with Paul, we wanted to share our objectives to achieve our aesthetics to update our 1980’s kitchen. In general, we wanted a better traffic flow throughout the kitchen and our main hallway. Architecturally, this would require the removal of a weigh-bearing wall that housed the central HVAC system. Additionally, we would have to remove the old linoleum flooring with new hardwood floors to match the original floors of the house. The finished design led to an open kitchen from the thoughtful use of space within the initial footprint. The Mozambique cabinetry (QCCI) with the black leathered quartzite counter and island delivered. A traditional backsplash element was abandoned - instead the entire wall was encased with Century porcelain tile (Porcelanosa) without grout lines. Natural lighting was enhanced by new windows. The opened wall was framed with mahogany and teak woods milled to the existing pattern of the house. All appliances were from Miele. Of major importance was the ability to balance a traditional colonial home with a modern day aesthetic. The end result is a stunning visual sense of form and function.

Paul is an extremely talented and effective designer. He has excellent communication skills and always makes himself available for his clients. Details are never lost in the shuffle and are well planned out in advance of when they're needed by the rest of the project team. He gets along seamlessly with contractors and vendors, which is such a relief on a project to have a cohesive team that can communicate well and respect one another. Tailored is the perfect word to use to describe Paul's designs - everything is thought out and makes sense in relation to everything else. His designs are timeless, modern, and interesting. If you have the chance to use Paul as your designer, you will not be disappointed with the end product.

Paul helped us with a complete kitchen renovation. He helped by giving better ideas on flow and use that made our kitchen way more functional. His contacts for excellent cabinetry made all the difference. He has a great aesthetic but also accommodated our style as well. We would definitely recommend him!!!

Paul Bentham remodeled my kitchen in 2015 by gutting it from floor to ceiling and in 2017 he did the same in both the master bathroom and my kids bathroom. It came the time to remodel the largest bathroom in the house: THE MASTER BATHROOM! My family and I decided to contract Paul Bentham, the designer. Paul Bentham is a top senior designer, his long years of expertise and hands-on the job made him a very refined designer, very creative with exquisite taste. From the minute you meet him, he shows a great deal of knowledge and professionalism, not only is he very pleasant and energetic but he likes to work closely with his clients in order to accommodate their needs and expectations. I must tell you that we had a very good experience and we are very happy with the outcome of the job and you must trust him when he makes a design and select colors. Yet one important thing to mention, even if Paul has a spectacular overall vision when he makes a design, selects items, mixes colors, it's very important to know that he is not rigid with his designs but he is very open minded and integrated our taste with his. We are so happy with our renewed bathroom, not only it’s beautiful, it is also completely handicap friendly and every once in while I send blessings to Paul for delivering what we wanted making our lives easier. Paul created a beautiful kitchen and powder room in my home. The kitchen is well organized, comfortable, and a great gathering place. From the color scheme to the appliances Paul is a true expert.
