We really enjoyed working with Tammara Stroud Design. Tammara is a terrific designer who listened to our ideas and translated them into beautiful, functional spaces. We moved into a new house a few years ago and wanted to customize some aspects of the main areas (entry way, living room, dining room and powder room) to be more comfortable, inviting and colorful. Tammara and Caroline listened to our concerns and created a practical and beautiful design that worked well with the style of our home. She found beautiful fabrics, lighting, rugs, wallpaper and furniture that make our home feel unique and special. We couldn’t be happier with the results! We look forward to working with Tammara on future projects.

We had a great experience working with Tammara and her team on our whole house remodel. From the very beginning of the project, they were true partners – helping us navigate the many complexities and constraints that come with reimagining an existing home. She worked directly with our architect and contractor during the initial design process as well as during the actual construction, providing her expertise when new issues or challenges came up. Our kitchen is terrific – not just beautiful, thanks to the thoughtfully chosen fixtures and finishes – but also highly functional. Tammara worked with our architect to incorporate her design ideas into the floor plan of the house. Even though our home is in a dense urban neighborhood with limited natural light, her design choices make the space feel open, bright, and welcoming. We especially love the accent colors and wallpaper that bring character and warmth to each room. The furniture she picked strikes the perfect balance of elegance and practicality. It looks beautiful and works for our family with young kids. Every time we needed to pick colors, materials, or finishes, she was prepared with thoughtful options that matched our style to guide us through the decision-making with as little stress as possible. She was also extremely responsive to our questions and truly a joy to work with from start to finish. Thanks to Tammara and her team, we have a beautiful and functional home that feels like us.

This is our third home with the Tammara Stroud Design Team. The one we finished currently is in Scottsdale Arizona and we did a complete remodel inside and out. The inside was taken down to the studs and some walls removed to open up the floor plan, The design team did an exceptional job of listening to what we wanted and creating a fabulous design. Everything inside is new including all the furnishings. I have been in the construction industry for 40 years and the Tammara Stroud Team is the best I’ve ever worked with which should speak volumes about them. They pay attention to all the details to make sure things are done right. The home is awesome and we just love it.

We had a great experience working with Tammara Stroud Design. We moved into our 100+ year-old house a couple of years ago knowing full well that we would want to undertake some major improvements with it. The house was dated with lots of awkward and poorly utilized space. We had no idea where to start with such a big project. After meeting with several designers, Tammara was the first person we felt confident in. We were impressed by her prior experience with projects of this scope and her versatility in design styles (which we saw from project examples on her website). Tammara guided us through a renovation that included a complete kitchen remodel, addition of a new breakfast nook, built-in cabinetry in the living and dining rooms, updates to three bathrooms, and a redesign of our laundry space. She was even able to connect us with a great contractor (which are exceedingly hard to come by these days) and a cabinetmaker, who both did amazing work. Importantly, she did all of this with our budget in mind. As with any project, there were a few hiccups on the way, but Tammara’s prompt communication with vendors helped everything continue along smoothly. We love the outcome—our home now really feels like “ours”. We would definitely use her studio again for any future projects.

When we bought our 1928 Dutch Colonial Revival farmhouse, it was all about location. The interior was charming but dated, and for me a lot of the design choices made the home feel disconnected from its roots. Tammara is amazing. She not only helped me find ways to improve the function of the bathrooms and kitchen through great design, she made the home seem so much more cohesive and light throughout. She worked with my aesthetic but also steered me to choices that I would have never considered or might have just rejected... but she understood my desire to honor the home's heritage, and I get it now. It's hard to explain the process of working with a great designer, but I think that's what I mean. Did the whole remodel go off without a hitch. Definitely, no. Is that sort of par for the course when dealing with a 100 year old house? For sure. But when the going got tough, Tammara found solutions and found a way through. She researched trades and solutions for even the most unexpected issues that tripped us up. I feel like she wore many hats beyond the pretty one she probably picked out for interior design. She worked hard to keep the GC, cabinetmaker, and others moving forward. She communicated frequently and accurately with me on orders, dates, times, expenses. I give her my highest recommendation.

Tammara is our go-to designer. Her taste is impeccable and I can always count on her for great advice - whether it’s ordering furniture, choosing paint color, arranging a room, or drawing up plans for a remodel. We have worked with her on all that and more for the four different houses we have lived in. She also has great contacts for every kind of subcontractor you’d need. Her design fees are very reasonable too. I cannot say enough good things about Tammara!

Tammara and her team have completed two projects for me. They listened to what we wanted and then came back with a plan that was perfect on both jobs. I couldn't be happier. One is in the Parkpoint condominums in Seattle and is truly spectacular. The other is our primary residence and really came out as comfortable family home, not a staged design.

I’m so glad we found Tammara to help us with the finishes and furnishings for our basement remodel. We live in a 1928 Tudor home and were wanting a fresh updated look while remaining true to the architecture of the home. The project involved adding a bar, wine cellar, seating area, fireplace redesign and home gym.
