Pryor Construction is a really great local company that does beautiful gorgeous work - and I really believe you can trust them. Just good people. Can be a big decision but if you've got good people you can't go wrong. Highly recommend.

We hired Pryor Construction to completely renovate a small 5x7 bathroom containing a toilet, sink and shower. I already had a design in mind, and all I needed was someone to execute. Pryor did that flawlessly! They were thorough and precise, with first=rate workmanship. We could not be happier with the result.

We hired Pryor to renovate two bathrooms, one kitchen and duplex the top unit of our 110-year-old two flat into the attic. As soon as demolition started in the basement, we discovered 11 broken joists - there was no way we could build on top of that. Thank goodness we were working with Pryor, because while we hoped to save some area from being redone, we ended needing a complete gut rehab. They were clear and transparent with the information and costs involved with every decision we needed to make. And sensing we were overwhelmed (which we were), they guided us on everything from cabinets to countertops, from tile to trim, from plumbing fixtures to light fixtures -- and maintained the historical charm of our "new" home. We were very fortunate to be working with Pryor and we would highly recommend them to anyone, especially for challenging work on an older home.

The contractors and subcontractors at Pryor Construction are consummate professionals. We had a terrible experience with the first contractor we hired for our home remodeling project. When it was time to start over, Pryor took on the project. They developed a new floor plan, corrected all of the mistakes made by the previous contractor and essentially saved the project. All of their subcontractors were excellent and the project was exceedingly well-managed. Highly recommended.

Our experience with Pryor was simply amazing. We had a construction job that required building a new staircase and remodeling some space to create a third bedroom. Pryor Construction recently completed the renovation of our 100+ year-old home. The house was almost completely gutted, and three stories of new living space were added onto the back. A few unforeseen "old house issues" were tackled swiftly. In the end, we returned to a house that was skillfully crafted, where elements of the old (hardwood floors, oak trim,) blended seamlessly with the new (practically everything else). From beginning to end, they presented a professional operation and eliminated the anxiety in each stage of our first major renovation project. Construction manager Ridas Kalade and office manager Mary Capistrano were always available, ready to help, and usually two steps ahead of me. While I undertook the task of picking design elements, they guided me at each turn and lent their advice. Their subcontractors and craftsmen are skilled individuals, and we are beyond pleased with the level of attention they gave to our home.

I contacted Pryor because of previous experience with Pryor's professional staff. Previously, we had a central beam replaced in our living room, some electrical work completed in a closet, and support posts and an enclosing surface installed under our back porch. This time, we needed to have our back porch exit and storm doors replaced. Bruce Robertson, a highly skilled carpenter, did the work. Bruce conscientiously installed both doors to my satisfaction. Bruce is a true craftsman and did the work as if it were for his own home. Bruce was punctual and finished on-time. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the results. Mary Capistrano expertly handled the contracting. The total cost was fair and reasonable. This is a first-class organization. I highly recommend Pryor for any remodeling job.

I have used Pryor Construction for many projects in my home thought the years from small things such as changing a kitchen backsplash to an entire basement renovation . Their craftsmanship is excellent , they are true professionals who are easy to collaborate with and very reliable. I will continue to work with them on my future projects and recommend them highly .

I have been in several houses in the Andersonville neighborhood where Pryor Construction has done significant remodeling work. I am struck not only by the high quality of the craftsmanship throughout the project, but by the individual style of each house. In all cases the design solution for the remodeling or new construction coordinated beautifully with the existing home . The continuity between old and new was seamless. I've created the landscape designs for two houses that Pryor Construction has remodeled. I worked closely with Pete Pryor to have the landscaping coordinate with the style and design elements of the home with the homeowners. I found Pete to be a professional, experienced and innovative contractor that went out of his way to accommodate the homeowner. It has been a pleasure to work with Pete and his company.
