Rating this company is a challenge as there were some things that were good and quite a few that were less than ideal. Overall I would say that if you are looking for a builder-grade product at what seems a high price point (I have nothing to compare to so take that with salt) you would likely be fine with this company as that is what their system is designed to build. I wanted a higher-end finishes and that apparently caused multiple lengthy delays with subcontractors who were unfamiliar with and/or unable or unwilling to obtain the information and materials needed. Some things, such as loose siding, incorrectly installed appliances and multiple nails and trash left behind just felt a bit sloppy. The project had months of down time, cost quite a bit more in tens of thousands than originally anticipated, and “finished” (rather just petered out) with no expressed appreciation for my patronage, which would have been a nice touch after such a difficult and costly process. At no point did the company owner or manager contact me to inquire about the project, which would have been appreciated. On the positive side, they were fine to work with and efficient in the initial construction work itself, which involved removing a small wall, constructing a shed, replacing tile flooring, framing, siding etc. That all appears to have been done satisfactorily.

It was a pleasure working with the staff at Taylored Elements Construction. They made me feel included in the building process. In addition, the products used in the building of my home were of high quality.

I purchased a new home on Randy St. in Ashland. Because construction was just getting started, I was able to have input on paint, light fixtures, and additional features. The staff at Taylored Elements was very good to work with and responsive to questions and requests. I have been in the house for 6 months. There have been no problems to speak of at this point. The house is well constructed and has features such as solar which work well in this area. I am very finding the house to be very comfortable.

Our project (kitchen and main bath remodel) involved a lot of details and decisions, and the Taylored Elements team made it easy and exciting every step of the way. First rate service from the staff, excellent subcontractors, and the entire project came in on time and even a little under budget. And it's beautiful! We wholeheartedly recommend this company and will use them again ourselves.

Taylored Elements Construction (TEC) did a fantastic quality construction of our new home. We couldn't be happier. The work crews were professional and happy to help us along the way. From the start, using the design team at TEC, we were able to pick all of our finishes (colors, cabinet styles, flooring, hardware, plumbing fixtures, etc.) and they assisted in helping us to get good design matches for our vision. Have to say, this is our second home built brand new, and TEC far exceeded our expectations compared to our first experience with another builder. They pay attention to detail, and provide a high quality home. As for a "punch list" at completion? What punch list? Other than a couple of paint nicks, there was nothing for them to come back for to "fix". Really a well built product. We've been in our new house for about a year and a half, and all's going great with the house. We highly recommend TEC to anyone considering a new build or a remodel. Sincerely.

Taylored Elements did a remodel on our kitchen and we could not be happier. Mel worked with us on design and came up with excellent suggestions; she was instrumental in selecting cupboards, paint color, and countertops that complemented each other beautifully. Our project manager, Jim, was very detail oriented. He answered any questions we had and helped facilitate any upgrades we had during the project. We love to cook and absolutely love our kitchen! I highly recommend Taylored Elements!

After a long search for a contractor, we hired Taylored Elements Construction for our office addition project. They were simply Amazing! From initial concept and planning all the way to completed project we couldn't be more delighted. Kyle took the time to listen to all of our ideas, concepts and concerns and brought together a fantastic plan for our office addition. His project manager Sean handled the day to day during tear out and construction, managing subcontractors all the way to finish work. Excellent communication and It could not have gone smoother. We just finished building our dream home using Taylored Elements. It turned better than we imagined. The quality of our house is second to none. We had passed by this home while they were tearing it down and liked the large lot. We looked at their Houzz site and we trusted their work and integrity and plunged in and have no regrets. They were professional and got the work done in a timely manner.

Dustin and Kyle from Taylored Elements have been a pleasure to work with. We bought a Taylored Elements home after the house was completely finished. Dustin has worked with us on questions we had about how some of the mechanical features of the house work and he has graciously agreed to make some minor repairs on items we did not notice during our previous inspection. The entire process of buying our house went smoothly and the result is that we are now living in a wonderfully built and designed place that we now call 'home.'

We purchased a home from Taylored Elements during the early phase of construction. We were able to watch our home be built and were impressed throughout by the quality of the construction and by the smooth and efficient organization of the work-flow. We asked for some changes in the kitchen which Dustin and Kyle designed in seamlessly. When our house was finished, an independent inspector told us that the house was built to the highest standards. Taylored Elements and their subcontractors performed a remodel of our downstairs living area and kitchen. We were satisfied with all the work performed with the exception of the painting. This portion of the job was very expensive and the quality was sub par. The painting contractor returned numerous times to correct mistakes but never completed the job to our satisfaction. Tailored Elements would have continued to send the painting contractor back but in frustration, we finally decided to just live with it.

Taylored Elements redid most of our downstairs after a flood and did a fantastic job. They were on time, they cleaned up and the work was prefect. We are thing about a few remodel projects and will call them first. Highly recommended!

Exceptional Quality! We purchased our Taylored Elements home back in 2010 when we moved to Oregon. We are extremely satisfied with our investment and endorse Kyle Taylor's attention to detail. The home requires very little in terms of ongoing maintenance and there has been no major repairs/issues. Our growing family demands energy and the affordable utility expense each month supports the homes energy efficiency. Taylored Elements is approachable, responsive, and very easy to work with.

I am the owner of Superior Windows & Doors and have been a supplier to Taylored Elements Construction for many years. That gives me a unique prospective as compared to their clients. For example, I know that their level of concern for quality products exceeds that of the average contractor. I also know that the quality of work performed by a contractor has a direct relationship on the "after sales service" required. The better the installation the less service required. That being said, Taylored Elements Construction rarely requires service and when they do it''s always for a problem not caused by them. On top of that, they are just the friendliest guys to work with. I can't recommend them enough.

We had a remodel done in our outside kitchen. Kyle Taylor of Taylor Elements Construction did an outstanding job on this remodel. He and his crew were always on time as well as helping us make sound decisions that save us time and money. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a reliable firm. This is our third project that this firm was hired for.

We had our kitchen remolded and it it came out better than in my dreams . They were there to answer questions and had a hands on to be sure everything was being done as they wanted. They worked real well together. If you use them I would ask for: Jake Brown, Dustin, Todd, Cory. Eric, and Jake #2 Each one of them quit..only after making sure all was right and cleaned up.. Since I knew what I wanted (I thought) but they made me see how things would be better done a certain way. The special sized sink that Dustin showed me turned out to be amazing. Offsetting the sink to make things look centered. And the only delay was because they were working on the stain for the cabinets. They were not happy with the results so they worked on them 3 or 4 days And that meant the weekend. They always went beyond what was expected.. . And I love the special pull outs that replaced a lazy susans.(I don't know the name they are called them.) We have no complaints. It was a bit sad to see them go. They felt like family not men we hired to do a job. DON'T USE ANYONE ELSE.

I was commissioned By Taylored Elements Construction Last year to do a Mid sized Kitchen and Bath For nice local home in Ashland Oregon. We had a few unforeseen problems. It was so nice to work with a General Contractor Who had the ability to manage his team, deal with all his Subs, take care of the Home owners, an then resolve all of our Issues in a calm and professional manner. Will be looking Forward to working with Taylored Elements Construction in the Future.
