The Stated Home

We were so thrilled to find The Stated Home! Our Lee Industries slipcover chairs were in great shape, but needed an update. I couldn’t imagine ordering fabric via email, but Shelly made it easy. From my general description, she mailed me a carefully curated bunch of fabric swatches, all of them appropriate. It was easy to pick our favorite: the Lee Crypton Sierra Sands. From there the ordering process was quick and easy. We were even able to customize our style - we opted for topstitching instead of welting. Icing on the cake, the price for two replacement slipcovers was less than we paid 10 years ago through our furniture store. Our covers arrived ahead of schedule. Their quality and craftsmanship are excellent. Their fit is a bit roomier than the old covers - I loved the ease of installing them. Shelly followed up, making sure we were satisfied. We totally are. I ordered a replacement slip cover for my Lee Industries sofa. I ordered a ton of swatches and they were very patient with me as I took my time to decide. They kept me informed every step of the way and the final product was very high quality. So happy with my experience with The Stated Home! We needed a new couch for our living room and we were looking for something really specific. We spend a lot of time on this couch and have little kids (who are really messy :-), so we wanted it to be able to stand up to our lifestyle. I was striking out everywhere I looked around town. Then I started working with Laura and she was so amazing! She sent me so many fabric samples so I could find just the right one, and talked me through designing our very own custom piece. She helped me choose everything from the exact dimensions I wanted, the shape of the arms & legs, the washable slipcovers, to the type of stuffing in the cushions. I couldn't be happier with the final product and the fact that we were able to support a small business committed to environmentally sound, domestic manufacturing. We would highly recommend The Stated Home to anyone looking for the perfect piece for their home.

I highly recommend The Stated Home for your furniture buying experience. I had an empty room with a quirky layout and they helped me furnish it to bring it to entertaining quality. The Stated Home was respectful of my vision, but also opened us up to different possibilities. We stayed on budget, and on time. They provided us with relevant samples and walked us through our choices. The staff kept us informed of pricing and delivery dates. The bonus is we have furniture that will last, is made in the USA, AND looks fantastic!! You will not be disappointed.

I am always overwhelmed by the amount of choices available when looking for furniture, and you never really know what the true quality is. Laura did all the work for me. She talked to me about my tastes and helped me choose a piece right for me. She helped me choose everything from style and fabric, to cushion fullness. Additionally, she ensured we purchased a high quality long lasting item that was made in the US. We purchased a huge sectional and our family loves it. It looks great and provides tons of comfortable seating. We will definitely use The Stated Home again to help us with our furniture choices.

Laura helped me purchase 2 sofas and I love them! She helped me choose the fabric and the style. I also chose coordinating fabric and had throw pillows made. My sofas arrived in a very timely manner and the quality is exceptional! I receive so many compliments on them. I 'll definitely use The Stated Home again when I need to purchase more furniture.

Laura is fearless in her approach. I had a traditional theater room & she quickly had me turn the entire room around! It is now more spacious & multipurpose. I look forward to our next project!
