My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

I am an architect specializing in all aspects of residential design and architecture; including new houses, additions, kitchens and baths, historic buildings, high performance energy efficient design, to list a few highlights. All proposals are based on an hourly rate so I am able to do large or small projects and as much or as little as is required. I have over 25 years of experience, am a LEED AP, and a Certified Passive House Consultant. I have 9 years as a building envelope consultant specializing in all aspects of the thermal, moisture, and water resistant analysis, control, and repair.

Michael did the most amazing architect design for our house remodel. He thought of everything so that the builders could turn it into reality without any issues. The use of windows brings in so much natural light and the architectural details he employed truly make the house 'our house' and not some cookie cutter design. He also thought of things we wouldn't have thought of that make the house flow much better than it used to. Thank you Michael!! I can't wait for our next house remodel with you.

We hired Michael Blutt to work with us in drawing up plans for a dream addition to our home. He did a great job and over-delivered in every aspect of the job. He listened to what we wanted and put our ideas (and some of his thoughtful suggestions) into our plans. We could not have been happier with our addition and Mike was a pleasure to work with. Seven years later our kitchen, bathroom and mudroom renovation and addition has proven the test of time. Michael guided us through the design process, beginning with a thorough review of various layout alternatives, continuing with the creation of architectural documents, and then ending with the evaluation of bids and contractor selection. We eliminated an unused three season porch, added an eating area and now our home works much better for us.
