Hank employed the best subcontractors - all highly competent and respectful of our home. Hank’s communication was consistently prompt, informative, and patient. He interfaced seamlessly with all of his subcontractors and gave us regular updates on their progress. I asked about hiring a designer and Hank suggested Samantha McClintock, who works with him regularly. She is incredible. No question - she understood us and significantly elevated the look to our tastes. You get the idea: It was a good experience for us. We are very happy with our “new” kitchen.

Hank with The Bend Craftsmen Company did an excellent job start to finish with keeping everything on schedule. We built a 800 sq ft ADU from the ground up and it only took 8 months from breaking ground to finish. Every month he presented us with detailed invoices showing exactly (down to the penny) what we were paying for. If a mistake came up he would address it promptly and with transparency. We are very pleased with our finished product!

We worked with Hank to remodel our kitchen and wow, he did an amazing job. Our kitchen had good bones but was very dated so we kept the existing footprint and cabinets but updated the countertops, backsplash and finishes. He also added "faux cabinets" above our existing cabinetry to create a more modern look. This really elevated the design! He was very responsive throughout the process and made sure to keep us updated on progress along the way. I've had past renovations drag on and on, but Hank kept the project on schedule and on budget. Highly recommend Hank!

Bend Craftsman Company was such an excellent partner on our home remodel project. Our house is really old and there isn't a straight line in the place. Hank was able to navigate all of the complexities and turn our home into a truly gorgeous place to live. We are so happy with Hank's work that we've hired him three times. First to remodel our master bathroom, second to remodel our kitchen, and the third time was for a new fireplace buildout with an accent wall and shelves. As a project manager Hank is on top of coordinating all the necessary contractors to be on site, keeping us up to date on the project, answering any emails/texts, and works to resolve any issues. The bonus is he also can do a lot of the work himself and he does excellent work. Hank is dependable, reliable, responsive and we obviously trust him to keep bringing him back. I hired Hank to make some upgrades to a new home in Bend. I found him to be very competent, organized and easy to work with, also his sub contactors were excellent. Before moving to Bend I designed and oversaw the installation of high end Kitchens in the San Francisco Bay Area.
