In business since 1993, Windowology is a full service shop at home interior window treatment provider in the Pacific Northwest. We are dedicated to providing beautiful yet functional window treatments that will highlight the best qualities of any room in your home or office while maintaining privacy and safety. Speaking of safety, we offer several lifting systems that are specifically designed for families with young children and furry friends. As a locally owned business here in the greater Puget Sound, happy customers are our lifeline. Yes, we absolutely do free design consultations. We also remove and disposal of the old window coverings, install your new window treatments, and provide service after the sale. We provided three large Duet shades for Hal (Window-Ology) to re-string the internal lifting mechanism. (These were blinds that were in a home we purchased and not provided from Window-Ology). Hal got the shades completed for us within a work week, we picked up, and reattached to the mounts - just in time to beat much of the cold weather. Hal once again, did a great job for us! We previously (December 2015) purchased 14 blinds from Hal. His measurements are very exact and we couldn't be more pleased. We will use Hal again and recommend his work to anyone.

Hal is an absolute professional and expert in all things related to window coverings, not only did he help us figure out some fancy automated blinds for our bedroom (with very tall ceilings), but also gave us great advice for more cost effective solutions for the kids' rooms. And then I was also able to get his help having some curtains altered to fit a guest bedroom. Very helpful, able to work with different budgets, and super flexible with his time e.g. was able to meet at the house on a weekend. I would highly recommend (and in fact am getting him to do phase 2 of our project).

Hal came to our house, measured our windows, and based on our architecture of the house he recommended a particular type of window coverings. A few weeks later he installed all the blinds in an afternoon and they turned out better than we could have expected. And, most importantly, our Hunter Douglas blinds were significantly cheaper than the big name brand blind company.

They re-strung my cellular blind (pull string broke inside the blind) and did a wonderful job. Price was very reasonable and overall I feel I received great value. Entire process of dropping off my blind for repair abd pickup was hassle free. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

Hal did an excellent job helping us select blinds for our entire house. He has great style sense and did a fantastic job installing the blinds, even for the small windows that are 14 feet from the floor! Hal also recently helped us select fabric for a 12-year old chair that he had reupholstered for us and we very happy with the result! We highly recommend him!

Hal from Window-ology came to install our plantation shutters and cellular blinds today in our home. We'd ordered them online and the measurements were wrong (not through Window-ology) and Hal saved the today. He was incredibly positive and solutions-oriented in helping us make a quick decision in how to move forward with an expensive error by providing practical options for an imperfect situation - we were sure a lot calmer in the midst of a mini-crisis thanks to him! Communication was also incredibly quick which we highly value - I emailed them in the evening and received a call first thing the next morning, they called to confirm, and showed up right on time as promised, which is huge when others in the industry don't. Can't wait for Hal to come back and install more shutters/blinds at our new home!

Commented: Do these ripple fold drapes have a butt master lead carrier?What brandI prefer the butt master to the overlap for that very reason. It gives the treatment the flow of a grommet drape, but with more functionality.
