Continuing the concrete-look porcelain tile throughout the home gives it a nice, clean consistency and appeal. Carrying the tile from floor to walls while accenting the tub/ shower wall with simple, yet interesting mosaic makes the space playful yet sophisticated. The walnut vanity gives a pop of warmth to the space and creates balance. VISION AND NEEDS: Our client came to us with a vision for their family dream house that offered adequate space and a lot of character. They were drawn to the traditional form and contemporary feel of a Modern Farmhouse. MCHUGH SOLUTION: In showing multiple options at the schematic stage, the client approved a traditional L shaped porch with simple barn-like columns. The entry foyer is simple in it's two-story volume and it's mono-chromatic (white & black) finishes. Custom Surface Solutions - Owner Craig Thompson (512) 430-1215. This project shows a remodeled master bathroom with 12" x 24" tile on a vertical offset pattern used on the walls and floors. Includes glass mosaic accent band and shower box, and Fantasy Brown marble knee wall top and seat surface.

All of the cuts in the tile were deliberate. Notice the equal reveal on either side of the soap niche. A rectangular soap niche is not only modern and unique, but also has a much higher storage capacity than the traditional small square recess. The pony wall provides separation and privacy and also is able to support the long floating bench across the back wall.

A master bathroom in need of an update was modernized with a barn door, new vanity and modern natural tile selections. We were able to create a bathroom space which include warm colors( wood shelves, wall color, floor tile) and crisp clean finishes ( vanity, quartz, textural wall tile). There were 2 benches included for seating in and out of large shower enclosure.

This guest bathroom has the perfect balance of warm and cool, earthy and modern, chic and farmhouse. The "Cinnamon & Sugar" wall paint contrasts nicely with the warm white shower wall tile and other pops of white throughout the space. The Islandstone flooring and pebble shower floor unite all the colors. The frameless glass sliding doors opened up a room that previously felt small, dark, and dated. Earth tones in beige, gray, taupe, ivory, and plum create subtle and sophisticated interest. The textures and color combination is warm and inviting.
