Updating oak without removing all of it in this Des Moines 2-story! In this home baseboards were replaced with white and door casings were painted, while windows, doors and other moldings were left oak. On the stair rail only the spindles were painted to tie both finishes together. Fresh wall paint, lighting, door color and new carpet all work together and tie in the existing floor tile.
