These clients were looking for a major refresh on their home of 25+ years with an eye toward their future plans of selling upon retirement. To that end, we carefully chose updates that would appeal to future buyers including updating the kitchen and powder room, new lighting, and painting and replacing some (but not all) of the original oak trim.

Updating oak without removing all of it in this Des Moines 2-story! In this home baseboards were replaced with white and door casings were painted, while windows, doors and other moldings were left oak. On the stair rail only the spindles were painted to tie both finishes together. Fresh wall...

Entryway with new baseboards and painted trim, new wall color, door color, lighting, carpeting and painted spindles. Original elements including floor tile and oak trim remain to create this transitional style.

This kitchen received refaced cabinetry for a new color and door style. New backsplash was installed along with updated lighting and paint. Original flooring and countertops remain.
