A "standard" bathroom got the royal treatment. After painting the room in a 'royal' red, crown molding and shutters were added. In addition to the interesting accessories, pulls were added to the builders cabinets.

The wood cabinetry and the oak flooring lend a warm feeling to this large kitchen. Accessories on top of the cabinetry added interesting touches and broke up the mostly wood kitchen. A faux finish on the custom range hood brought color into the area.

New draperies, bedding and an area rug on the new wood flooring worked well with the existing bedroom furniture.

The goal for this kitchen was to make it interesting - not the "run of the mill". To accomplish this, two finishes are used - white for the upper and black for the lower cabinets. In addition, an interesting configuration for the glass doors were select. A black backsplash was put in place to compliment the lower cabinets and highlight the light colored granite counter. In lieu of having a solid black "skin" on the peninsular, 3 1/2" wide tongue n' groove was installed and painted in a black satin finish. To finish off the design, decorative molding (glazed) was added to the corners.

To enhance the space, one wall was painted in Edward Jones green. The addition of a wall sconce, a tall floral arrangement and greenery added a special touch to the area.

Opposite the bed is a seating area with a kiva fireplace in a diamond paint finish. The off white and red area rug compliment the kiva fireplace.
