The team at TruKitchens managed this main-level remodel from start to finish. The family always loved the bones and interesting details of this home, but the finishes and functionality in the kitchen were begging for an update. The new layout of the space eliminates the refrigerator wall, moving the appliance to a new location nearer the sink, and opens the space into the dining area. The large hood is removed from the middle of the space and replaced by a BEST downdraft ventilator to accompany the new Thermador induction cooktop. The oven is now relocated on the wall between the living room and kitchen. This same wall now features pass-through shelving that creates a bar space accessible from the living room and kitchen.
Finish selections center around creating a clean, modern look and lightening up the space. The Mode slab door style from Grabill Cabinets in their Lioher Zenit Supermatte Blanco finish and Nature Plus Nadir finish is used throughout the space. Crisp white quartz countertops and backsplash keep the space light and bright. Paneled appliances help streamline the entire design.

Boasting amazing city views, this secluded gem of a property was waiting for an exterior space of equal quality and imagination to accompany its prized outlook. Without a doubt, the crowning achievement of this spectacular renovation is the 10 foot by 12 foot stainless steel pool and hot tub situated on the roof. To fully maximize this new outdoor space, the pool was completely surrounded by a deck and a new penthouse entertainment area with kitchenette and bathroom, including a full shower.

The house is sited in the tree line at the edge of a rocky outcrop, and responds to sweeping eastern views of the valley below.
The family cooks, eats, and hangs out together in a space with amazing eastern sunlight and a strong connection to the trees outside and the Piedmont landscape in the distance.
A "personal touch" was high on the clients' wish-list—interiors of warm wood tones are accompanied by owner-crafted items, stained glass, cabinetry, railings and works of art. This humble sensibility is carried through on the exterior with simple board and batten siding, whitewash, and a rambling series of forms inspired by central Virginia agricultural architecture.

On a quiet cul-de-sac not too far from downtown San Luis Obispo lies the contemporary craftsman styled Clausen Residence. The challenges that accompanied this project were what, in the end, made it so interesting. The buildable area of the site is very small due to the fact that almost half of the property is occupied by a biological open space easement, established to protect the creek that runs behind the lot. In addition to this, the site is incredibly steep, which lent itself well to a stair stepped 3-story floor plan. Strict height restrictions set by the local jurisdiction governed the decision to bury the garage in the hill, and set the main living space on top of it, accompanied by the children’s bedrooms and game room further back on the site. The 3rd floor is occupied fully by the master suite, which looks down on the back yard below. Off of the great room is a vast deck, with built in barbecue, fire place and heaters, ideal for outdoor entertaining year round.
The house, adorned in lap siding and true craftsman details is flanked by gorgeous oak trees and the creek beyond.

This Modern Accent Armchair collection consists of two armchairs, foot rest and coffee table.
The name of collection comes from specific composition of the front legs and arm rest on the armchair (which resemble crocodile jaws). Extremely sharp, broken lines dominate both on the wooden structure and in upholstered back rest and seat, additionally emphasizing the sharpness of the piece. Armchair is made in two versions (face and mirror) which is achieved by switching left and right wooden frame on the armchair. The armchair is accompanied by ergonomically adjustable leg rest, the upper upholstered part of which can be skewed 20 degrees left or right. The armchair is accompanied by coffee table which also has the crocodile detail, but this time in the position of the leg.
Buyer can choose type of wood and type and color of material, which can be fabric or wool.
Dimensions: width 73cm, length 97cm, height 100 cm, weight 20.0 kg.
