This client brought an extensive Asian art collection to the table, and we sited each piece, creating a residential sculpture showcase within their garden.

In the core of downtown Toronto, the client had recently purchased a condo into the luxury 55 Stewart Building/Thompson Hotel. The unit was a bit warn-in and was in need of some updating from the previous owner. We started with a fresh paint job throughout the unit to add a bit more of personal touch to the unit. Kitchen cabinetry was updated as well to keep with the tons of the unit along with new light features above the island.
The monochromatic palate of the unit keeps it very neutral but brings in warmth with some textured materials and greenery. Soft lighting fits the space exceptionally well to maintain the feel in the evening. The mix of marble, black matte metal and dark wood furniture blends seamlessly together. And with keeping storage furniture open allows for more light to come through and make the space feel much bigger than it really is.

Trail - Mark Tipple
Mark Tipple is an Australian photographer specialising in marine documentary. In recent years, he has closely collaborated with social welfare organisations in Australia and neighbouring countries. His most important work is entitled “The Underwater Project” – a project for which he produced a report as an official photographer, presenting the relationships that Australians maintain with the ocean. His objective is to interrelate the various facets of his work in order to shed light on stories that traditional media tend to ignore. His personal photography or photographs derived from specific commissions (World Vision, Planet Ocean or the Nanda Dian Foundation) are widely diverse and deeply humane. Widely documented, they are now presented in print media as famous as The Australian, The Independent or National Geographic.

Our well-traveled client marked all of his personal travel destinations in one color, and all of their travels together in another. It takes a simple, elegant map and makes it a legacy piece for their family.
