Design ideas for a traditional landscaping in Houston.

Situated on one of the most prestigious streets in the distinguished neighborhood of Highland Park, 3517 Beverly is a transitional residence built by Robert Elliott Custom Homes. Designed by notable architect David Stocker of Stocker Hoesterey Montenegro, the 3-story, 5-bedroom and 6-bathroom residence is characterized by ample living space and signature high-end finishes. An expansive driveway on the oversized lot leads to an entrance with a courtyard fountain and glass pane front doors. The first floor features two living areas — each with its own fireplace and exposed wood beams — with one adjacent to a bar area. The kitchen is a convenient and elegant entertaining space with large marble countertops, a waterfall island and dual sinks. Beautifully tiled bathrooms are found throughout the home and have soaking tubs and walk-in showers. On the second floor, light filters through oversized windows into the bedrooms and bathrooms, and on the third floor, there is additional space for a sizable game room. There is an extensive outdoor living area, accessed via sliding glass doors from the living room, that opens to a patio with cedar ceilings and a fireplace.

We expanded an existing deck with new stairs, railing, decking, deck board design, lighting, complete with all post and beam wraps. All decking you see is Zuri decking with Timbertech Rail Systems. We installed riser lights up the stairs with post caps on top of all posts.

This tower style linen cabinet, was commissioned by a customer looking to finish off their bathroom renovation with a custom made-to-fit linen cabinet that would match with their vanity. We designed and built this nearly 7 foot tall cabinet for the customer using traditional joinery methods, using rabbets and dados to hold the shelves in place for a very solid finished piece. Decorative molding and trim was added to the bottom of the cabinet and the legs provide a pleasing negative space under the tall cabinet. Prefabricated molding, that matched the customer's vanity, was added to the top of the piece for added effect. The piece was sealed and then finished with a white cabinet enamel. Decorative knobs were added to also match the vanity in the bathroom.

Starting from a blank canvas with a completely empty shell, the Gonyea Transformations team transformed this spacious garage into a sleek, luxurious personal retreat. The garage now boasts ample space for our client to showcase their cars, as well as entertain friends in the loft with a full bar and lounge. Some stunning details include a beautiful cable railing that leads to the loft, a walnut accent wall that adds additional architectural interest and works as a privacy barrier and entertainment center, and a notable bar with diamond plate details, thoughtful lighting, and the clients’ own “Lamborghini” sign to create a cohesive look within the whole garage condo. Our Miami clients wanted a contemporary space, and we gave them hyper modernism with custom materials imported from Italy. A glass walk-in shower with sleek fixtures is a subtle touch to balance the dramatic artwork. Our favorite feature in this master bath is the hand-made mosaic micro tile wall. --- Project designed by Miami interior designer Margarita Bravo.
