Although it may have initially posed a challenge to integrate Chelsea and Kiel's personal styles, the living room combines the two in perfect harmony. "Kiel tends to gravitate toward more masculine, rustic, and industrial pieces while I like more bright, colorful and whimsical pieces", states Chelsea.
The mid-century chair and ottoman were found at a garage sale for $5 and reupholstered by Kiel's mother. Unassuming doses of color and pattern lend a light-hearted quality to the grouping.

This Reclaimed Wood Built in Bookcase was inspired by the video game Tetris and measures 9 feet high and 12 feet long. Ron Brown co-created this with Pauly Anderson (Captain Possible).

The customer wanted to add a spa like feel to the home in the master bath. They added a tile inlay, a bench seat, and 2 different types of recessed caddies. They chose to have the Tahoe Bowl as part of their vanity. The bathroom was advertised with our FOREVER warranty and was the reason their home sold for over their asking price. The new owners now have a great master bath with the peace of mind that if anything happens they will have it repaired or replaced for free.

This garage is part of a townhome. The townhome is very small inside and is in a tight-knit community where on Fridays, they have a community wine party, play music and everyone opens their garages and visits. He still stores his “garage things” there but everything is in cabinets behind doors. He has added a flat screen TV, surround sound and a drinks fridge, all while still being able to park two cars inside. You see this sort of garage conversion a lot in California where their homes are small, but not too much here in the Charlotte area.

Walls were leveled and walls were built. Floor plans, colors, material palettes, custom built furniture, signage, art and decor were all within my scope. In the end every room and every choice was touched by me.
