A small, but well-appointed eating nook off the kitchen gets great light from the large rear windows. Outfitted with beautiful William Morris fabric brings a warm and inviting botanical theme to the space in cool hues of blue and cream.

Traditional front entry with a firm nod to the arts & craft movement, uses deep brown wood tones on the oak flooring and matches to the stair posts and rails. The original front entry door had remained in excellent condition for 20 years and only needed a slight touch up on the stain.

A few tweaks to this already well built kitchen, refreshed the space and solidified the Arts & Craft theme carried throughout the space. A change to the pantry wall provided better and increased storage and countertop space and a new island created finely tuned symmetry to the layout. Combned with new cabinet hardware and modern chevron backsplash, the updated marble-look quartz countertops offer durability and a tailored sophisticated elegance.

Not afraid of pattern, this narrow powder room draws your eye up and down to the beautifully coordinated, authentic William Morris wallpaper and moroccan style floor tiles. Full height wainscot creates a balance to ensure the patterns don't become overwhelming. A polished nickel console sink keeps the tight space feeling open and airy, allowing the final details on the botanical patterend vessel sink to finish off the look.

A simple update in the Master Bedroom removed a rarely used corner fireplace, allowing for a more efficient layout for a larger king size bed and the traditional furniture pieces. A botanical themed crystal chandelier completes the simple elegance while carrying the arts & crafts theme to this space.

Walking the line between traditional and transitional, the balance comes with the finish details and hardware. Square, sharp lines modernize an overall traditional palette, but special attention to craftsmanship expresses a nod to traditional design. Following the theme of patterns, we chose to combine a modern twist on the traditionally A&C geometric chevron in combination with a subtle botanical on the walls. Tall wainscoting and marble cladding, create an elegant and monochramtic look throughout the ensuite.

Tailored & Transitional Front Entry with hardwood tread staircase and carpet runner. Beautifully crafted wainscot lines the hallways and leads you to the upper level with precision.

A pathway to the master ensuite and WIC was restricted by too many doors, and an awkward layout of linen closets. A simple re-layout of the storage spaces allowed for more function within the master ensuite, and removal of the vestibule door created a more fluid access to the ensuite and WIC.
