Sunroom - mid-sized contemporary sunroom idea in Other with a standard ceiling

This 4,500 sq ft basement in Long Island is high on luxe, style, and fun. It has a full gym, golf simulator, arcade room, home theater, bar, full bath, storage, and an entry mud area. The palette is tight with a wood tile pattern to define areas and keep the space integrated. We used an open floor plan but still kept each space defined. The golf simulator ceiling is deep blue to simulate the night sky. It works with the room/doors that are integrated into the paneling — on shiplap and blue. We also added lights on the shuffleboard and integrated inset gym mirrors into the shiplap. We integrated ductwork and HVAC into the columns and ceiling, a brass foot rail at the bar, and pop-up chargers and a USB in the theater and the bar. The center arm of the theater seats can be raised for cuddling. LED lights have been added to the stone at the threshold of the arcade, and the games in the arcade are turned on with a light switch.

Set up a home arcade/game area next to the exercise room and enjoy the opposing view of the TV and fireplace.

Interior remodel of downtown warehouse loft. Designed for entertaining, the unit contains an open contemporary kitchen with an 18 ft. long island, professional golf simulator / theatre, and plenty of space for poker tables and arcade games. All utilitarian functions of the residence -- bathroom, powder room, laundry, and closet -- are all contained behind a curved steel wall that clearly defines the public and private spaces.

A game table was created from a tool chest - providing unique, portable style. An urchin-inspired Varaluz pendant light is the focal point in the kitchenette-bar area, while a roadie-style console can also be easily moved around the space to support various types of entertainment. FJU Photography

Creating an exciting wine cellar and wine cellar dining in a subterranean level under the main spiral stair opened a variety of opportunities. The other side of the stair opens to a game room and large sit-down or stand-up wet bar that can accommodate an intimate party or a great crowd.
