The delicate boom arm, upheld by a tension cable, gently bends while reaching out to almost horizontal where it suspends the light. The structural design is an extremely effective way to resolve the forces associated with such a long reach. It is so effective and efficient that it seems to float with a weightlessness at the tip.

The hardwood throughout this space is reclaimed beech antique engineered wood. The feature in this great room is the unique fireplace. It is a custom made wood burning fireplace with dual stainless steel vent pipes, double layered ceramic glass with mechanically fan forced air to reduce exterior window temperature. It is a frameless glass design complete with single frameless sliding glass panel for fire chamber access.

In an effort to provide a serene, healing space to venerate the brave men and women in our armed forces, we donated our time to design and build the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Garden at the Northport VA Hospital. This project was a great honor, mirroring our deep respect for the immeasurable sacrifices that members of the armed forces make each day to protect our country. The space serves as a respite and area of reflection for our honored veterans and their families in the community.

A project with a dynamic, deconstructed design, like the works of architecture of the visionary American talent. A component sofa, visually light, the result of the composition of specific volumes where Euclidean geometry is cast aside. The upholstered back is high and inclined, while the single soft cushion is trapezoidal in form, combined with a chaise longue element that also has an asymmetrical form. The armrests are padded or in painted metal. Unusual angles and thicknesses, with no orthogonal joints, because the harmony comes from the balanced composition of the volumes. The result is a product that emphasizes and reinforces the idea of comfort, introducing unusual new aesthetic codes.

This washroom has so many creative elements: a medicine cabinet that doubles as art, frosted aqua glass, counter tops, aqua blue mosaic glass tile in the shower, and honey coloured, white oak to keep the space warm and inviting. This washroom also houses a hidden laundry room that disappears into the decor of the washroom.

What is Contemporary Style? During the 1990s and 2010s, the word contemporary was commonly used to describe an interior style that was centered around rooms with neutral-toned color palettes and furniture with simple, straight-lined appeal. Many contemporary living rooms featured cream-colored walls with light brown wood floors, or off-white carpeted floors, as well as upholstered furniture with track arms, or perhaps recliners with pillowy cushions and pillow-top arms. In recent years – well, really since we all were forced to actually live in our homes during the Covid-19 pandemic - there have been many changes happening within the world of contemporary style. The contemporary style that has been emerging since 2020 still favors straight-lined foundational pieces, but now it’s more and more about blending in traditional pieces, opposing styles, and maximalist color motifs. The End of the Ultra-Slim Wedding Suit For several years, men’s formalwear was dominated by narrow lapels, short jackets and trousers cut close to the leg. The style created a sharp outline, but it often left little room for sitting, dancing or eating comfortably. Current tailoring is moving towards a more balanced shape, with cleaner shoulders, a defined waist and trousers that follow the leg without gripping it.This change does not mean that wedding suits have become oversized. The newer approach sits between skinny and loose. It keeps the structure expected of formal clothing while allowing the cloth to hang properly. For grooms, that balance is useful during a day that may involve a ceremony, photographs, dinner and several hours on the dance floor. Look For Shape Rather Than Tightness A well-fitted suit should create a clear outline without relying on tension. The jacket should sit close enough to define the waist, but the front button should fasten without pulling the cloth into an X-shaped crease. The hem should make gentle contact with the shoe rather than gathering heavily around it. A short hem can work with narrow trousers but taking it too far may make the suit look dated once the current cropped style moves on. A slight break is easier to wear with different formal shoes and tends to look balanced in full-length wedding photographs. Let The Waistcoat Support the Silhouette A waistcoat adds structure through the centre of the outfit, but only when it fits correctly. It should lie flat against the shirt and cover the trouser waistband. Tightening the back strap cannot correct a waistcoat that is the wrong size or too short. Pay attention to the parts that cannot be seen clearly in a mirror. The collar should remain close to the shirt at the back of the neck. Jacket vents should not pull apart, and the trouser seat should follow the body without sagging or strain. The current move towards balanced tailoring gives grooms more room to choose clothes that look formal without feeling restrictive. Clean shoulders, a shaped jacket and trousers with a natural fall will outlast extreme proportions. A suit that allows the groom to stand, sit and celebrate comfortably is also more likely to look composed in photographs taken throughout the day.
