he custom sofa is upholstered in a Toyine Sellers fabric, the 19th-century Belgian cabinet was found at an auction in London, the bronze pendant light is by Hervé Van der Straeten and the Georgian fireplace is attributed to Robert Adam. The walls are coated in waxed plaster, the flooring is Indian sandstone, the silk rug is by Fort Street Studio and the painting over the mantel is by Ross Bleckner.

Columns, beams, half-walls and built-ins throughout add a sense of Old World craftsmanship. Opening to the kitchen and a double-sided fireplace, the dining room features a lounge area and a curved booth that seats up to eight at a time. When space is needed for a larger crowd, furniture in the sitting area can be traded for an expanded table and more chairs. On the other side of the fireplace, expansive lake views are the highlight of the hearth room, which features drop down steps for even more beautiful vistas. An unusual stair tower connects the home’s five levels. While spacious, each room was designed for maximum living in minimum space.

The highlight of this kitchen design is the Shiloh Eclipse frameless cabinets with unadorned slab doors and long, bar shaped stainless steel cabinet hardware. In keeping with the attributes of a contemporary look, the cabinets are a consistent size throughout and the color is Sherwin Williams Mindful Gray. Task undermount lighting and a pull out trash can cabinet makes food preparation easier. A large pantry cabinet is conveniently located next to the refrigerator and greatly increases the storage area within the kitchen.

The design project of the studio is in white. The white version of the interior decoration allows to visually expanding the space. The dark wooden floor counterbalances the light space and favorably shades.
The layout of the room is conventionally divided into functional zones. The kitchen area is presented in a combination of white and black. It looks stylish and aesthetically pleasing. Monophonic facades, made to match the walls. The color of the kitchen working wall is a deep dark color, which looks especially impressive with backlighting. The bar counter makes a conditional division between the kitchen and the living room. The main focus of the center of the composition is a round table with metal legs. Fits organically into a restrained but elegant interior. Further, in the recreation area there is an indispensable attribute - a sofa. The green sofa complements the cool white tone and adds serenity to the setting. The fragile glass coffee table enhances the lightness atmosphere.
The installation of an electric fireplace is an interesting design solution. It will create an atmosphere of comfort and warm atmosphere. A niche with shelves made of drywall, serves as a decor and has a functional character. An accent wall with a photo dilutes the monochrome finish. Plants and textiles make the room cozy.
A textured white brick wall highlights the entrance hall. The necessary furniture consists of a hanger, shelves and mirrors. Lighting of the space is represented by built-in lamps, there is also lighting of functional areas.

At the end of the sunroom, you’ll find one of the most efficient and functional outdoor kitchens we have ever installed. There is a 4-burner Blaze stainless steel grill with a Blaze Vent Hood, Blaze Door Drawer Combo, Trash Drawer, Fridge, and Ice Bin Cooler. You guessed it. Outfitted like this, there is no need to venture back inside the house for anything.
The kitchen is 13-feet wide with an 8 inch backsplash. The counter top is constructed to reflect the design attributes of the exterior fire feature and seating wall with Travertine Ledgestone, again in ivory, and a gray Lueders top with a hand chiseled finish.

This award-winning custom home is a traditional craftsman style house with many contemporary attributes. It sits on a five acre parcel up high on a mountain that has commanding views of the entire Puget Sound, including Brentwood Bay, the Gulf Islands, Mount Baker, Victoria, and the Olympic Mountains.
