Shown is a close up of the swaged ceiling treatment. This room, with its round ceiling now feels like a circus tent with its fanciful ceiling treatment. A hot air balloon chandelier completes the whimsical look.

Redesign of the room for a kid, 9,45 sq.m. Painted in light grey walls with the bright yellow accent in the sleeping area. Gray mountainscape with hot air balloon and sun wallpaper mural. Bed with stairs, storage space and in-and-out desk under the bedding. Desk chair, toy chest, wall shelf, IKEA storage combination with boxes. Bright roll-out shades. Felt LED ceiling light and steel yellow wall light.

Romo fabric roman shades and solar shades were made and installed by our studio. Happy girl room was designed by Marie Burgos. As always client oriented design and wonderful choice of colors and fabrics.

Nursery for KipsBayDesigner's house. Crib set is made of finest cottons bedding and blankets from cashmere with monogram and decorative tape and eyelet, another blanket is made of the same fabric as window treatment scooped valance with bottom banding and tails and various pillows with trims and fringe placed on the window cushion are making this set so luxurious and beautiful! This hidden patio really can't be seen from the street due to the plant screen. Is it possible to have a space for entertaining, relaxing, hot-tubbing and growing food? A space where dogs can play and kids can have water balloon fights, all within a low-maintenance and low-water framework on an averaged-sized Soquel lot? These clients wanted it to be possible and I believed that it was. This garden embodies all of the above with areas for growing veggies and fruit, a trampoline for kids and a playable low-water grass alternative that never needs mowing! The variety of bright flowers provide year-round color and lots of food for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. On the southwest side of the home, a large arbor and vine create an inviting shady spot to dine alfresco on warm evenings. Another arbor covers the hot tub that has adequate privacy due to a flowering vine that hangs generously down. In the front of the home, tall plants provide a nook for the stamped concrete patio that is not visible from the street. A perfect spot for morning coffee while watching the hummingbirds.

This guest bedroom has a calming atmosphere helped with the choice of colors. Greens with a touch of browns and bronze help make the room feel as though it was there several decades ago when the home was first built. I used the clients treasured antiques and layered fabrics, including the small trim detailing on the drapes.
