The new hall bath was relocated to an adjacent open play area that the kids had outgrown. We used a marble-look hex tile on the floor; the porcelain is durable and easy to maintain and the Calacatta look provides visual continuity with the ensuite bath. Elongated white subway tile keeps the bathroom feeling light and bright and a deep soaking tub means a relaxing spa-like bath is an option when needed. An open hall cubby space is currently used as the kids’ book nook, but could easily house linens and overflow bath supplies.

This Bachelor Suite Guest Bath features a chiseled Simena Limestone focal wall which creates dramatic texture and design. A polished Avorio Travertine slab sits atop the floating African mahogany vanity. Within the shower you will find a multi-textural Goya limestone stacked mosaic which compliments the Moca Cream limestone floor.

To give the bathroom a more open feel we removed a pony wall and bathtub, added a large shower and carved out space for "his" and "hers" vanities. Glass shower doors make the room feel larger and allow light to floods the entire space. Designing a whole home remodel for a client’s second home was an exciting opportunity to create a space that felt both welcoming and timeless. This guest bath has a few special touches. My client wanted it to have a some sentimental value without looking too personalized. On the tile mural on the back wall the wine bottle has the year this couple was married, and the napkin has a N for their last name.
