This hallway bathroom is mostly used by the son of the family so you can see the clean lines and monochromatic colors selected for the job. the once enclosed shower has been opened and enclosed with glass and the new wall mounted vanity is 60" wide but is only 18" deep to allow a bigger passage way to the end of the bathroom where the alcove tub and the toilet is located. A once useless door to the outside at the end of the bathroom became a huge tall frosted glass window to allow a much needed natural light to penetrate the space but still allow privacy.

2011 NARI CAPITAL COTY HONORABLE MENTION AWARD WINNER The existing master bathroom in this home was vintage Seventies. The small, 5’x8’ room contained a tub, a toilet and a small vanity. Just outside was a wasted dressing area and doors to a closet. Tired of the look, the homeowner wanted a contemporary space with all the amenities that a new bathroom has to offer. To meet their needs, the remodeling team at Michael Nash Design, Build & Homes redid the space, installed double vanities, increased the size of the shower and upgraded the materials. The new design combined the dressing area, some of closet area and the bathroom to create a much bigger bathroom. The tub was removed, the toilet relocated and a large corner shower with built-in bench and shelving was installed. A 60” leaded glass door (pocket door) was installed as the bathroom entrance to provide more light. Heated flooring was installed under new tumbled marble flooring for extra comfort. Use of tumbled marble in the shower floor, walls and bathroom surround was tastefully designed and outlined with rope and chair rails. The heavy glass custom shower enclosure allows a clear viewing of decoratively laid marbles. The end result lets the clients spend more time in their bathroom which is beautiful and cleverly designed to fit their lifestyles.

Renovation of a classic Minneapolis bungalow included this family bathroom. An adjacent closet was converted to a walk-in glass shower and small sinks allowed room for two vanities. The mirrored wall and simple palette helps make the room feel larger. Playful accents like cow head towel hooks from CB2 and custom children's step stools add interest and function to this bathroom. The hexagon floor tile was selected to be in keeping with the original 1920's era of the home. This bathroom used to be tiny and was the only bathroom on the 2nd floor. This moody Industrial Farmhouse Kitchen is one of our all time favorite designs! Lucky for us this young family called upon our skills yet again to dream & deliver a cohesive new look for the entire main level of their Moorestown, New Jersey home. We knew Tracy & Tim really loved the end result of their mancave basement, with its painted black ceiling, and industrial vibe. The kitchen, however, needed to be a bit lighter so it would connect to the rest of their home. Solutions: bigger windows, dark gray & distressed walnut cabinets, a burnished copper hood, mesh textures (both in the bar and the stools), lighter quartz counters, and a backsplash that looks like whitewashed brick. We even infused some extra style and function by having a custom bay storage bench created for their empty bay window.
