A gorgeous, serene nursery for a baby boy was created by the concept of a rabbit motif and soft pastel colors. Birch branch blue wallpaper stands alone on the crib accent wall while the stunning metal canopy crib sits in front. An alphabet inspired wood carved dresser flanks the opposite wall with poise and passion.

This was a remodel of a traditional craftsmen/shingle style home. The clients wanted to make their home more energy efficient, warm and functional. The solution was to bring more light into the spaces, insulate throughout and redo the existing space and create a fully functional, roomy kitchen to be used for both cooking and entertaining.

This 4,500 sq. ft. house site is perched with breathtaking westerly views to the slopes of Mad River Glen and Green Mountains. The exterior palette is composed of Japanese Shou Sugi Ban siding, board form concrete and natural Hemlock ceilings. The interior is a combination of bright soaring rooms, private cozy retreat spaces and modern-minimalism. The large European windows and doors along with the continuous wood ceilings to the exterior mend the indoor and outdoor living experience. The Mad River View project tapped a number of regional craftspeople and engineers for the collaboration on many items including a stunning steel and oak staircase, cantilevered concrete deck, locally crafted blackened steel cabinetry, oversized oak entry doors and modern veneer cabinetry. The wooded site has a clean modern landscape of bluestone, river birches and grass plantings with the idea that the lush fern undergrowth will grow back as a transition to the woods.

Accenting the teal glass backsplash tile is the cozy window seat with a colorful vibrant diamond pattern. In Small spaces you need to maximize every inch. In this space a custom bench seat was made to not only cozy up and read a book but also to use as storage for bigger beach items like umbrellas and an additional air mattress! A reading light and plug were added to the wall for additional light while reading and a place to change your phone while in use. The layered patterned pillows add fun and excitement to the small corner space. With a touch of beach decor the small studio apartment does not become overwhelmed with clique items. Eichler in Marinwood - In conjunction to the porous programmatic kitchen block as a connective element, the walls along the main corridor add to the sense of bringing outside in. The fin wall adjacent to the entry has been detailed to have the siding slip past the glass, while the living, kitchen and dining room are all connected by a walnut veneer feature wall running the length of the house.
