The existing space was over compartmentalized and was never going to function properly as a place to cook and entertain friends. The new design involved removing an extra entry point & created all the zones necessary for fine entertaining while overlooking the vineyard.

A large square cocktail table anchors the new furniture arrangement and it's salvaged wood adds texture to the soft furnishings. Two new sofas balance the large room and provide comfortable seating for 8 - 10 people. New built-ins on either side of the fireplace provide ample storage for toys and audio visual equipment, while the dark wall color helps the television to disappear when not in use.

The Victorian inspired home features a round turret designed to provide a play area and study space for the homeowners' two young children. Featuring leaded-glass windows and a soaring ceiling, this light-filled space offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Architectural details abound in the two-story Family Room. Deep coffered ceilings with muliple crown mouldings draw the eye to the room's focal point, a massive stone fireplace with custom Marezzo Stone mantle and hearth. The fireplace is balanced on one side by a wall of windows and a custom designed entertainment center on the other.

In this kitchen we installed Custom Wood Products Colonial recessed door cabinetry in Dove White with Linen glaze. Project included room crown treatment, decorative wood hood, light rail, dishwasher and refrigerator panels. For the perimeter countertops Cambria New Haven was installed and on the island Cambria Blackwood quartz was installed. An Elkay stainless steel undermount sink was installed with Waterstone traditional pull down faucet, lotion dispenser, air switch and instant hot faucet all in a pewter finish. A red oak was installed on the floor. A new Sub Zero refrigerator, Jenn-Air Microwave oven, warming drawer and dishwasher and a Zephyr hood was installed.
