Inspiration for a 1950s home design remodel in San Francisco

Clay brick with bluestone is the traditional patio combination. Brick is commonly used as a detail feature (a border or inlay) while bluestone stonework is reserved for the main field. Lannonstone masonry clads the outdoor grill as bluestone countertops unify with the patio surface.

New BBQ and bar area. The outdoor kitchen nestles into the hillside and doubles as a retaining wall for the slope. Long Island Boulders continue the slope retention and tie into the rest of the site's materials.
