Accommodating their new lifestyle, we incorporated a large sectional for family bonding moments while watching TV. The Brick-It™ Patented Panel(DMG)
The panel is a G-60 Galvanized (non-corrosive)Metal formed to a patented Structural shape to align brick courses and to support and ensure a mechanical bond of each brick in place. It was created to make the installation of thin brick easy and durable. The shelves are for supporting the bricks and create perfect mortar lines. The interlocking edges found every 8 ¼” at the top and bottom of each panel become triple metal shelves that provide additional support to each grid and reinforce the wall as well. The interlocking edges produce level and straight horizontal lines creating perfectly aligned bricks every time. Mortar anchoring slots ensure a bonding to the grid, and the linear array of holes is designed for adhesive providing a mechanical attachment between the brick, grid and substrate. Roll formed continues ledges make this panel extremely rigid. In addition the need forstarter channels, special corner panels and other is entirely eliminated. The Brick-It™ Patented Panel system is the simplest and strongest installation system available.
Metropolis Drafting and Construction IncWhen our client bought this house, it was stuck in limbo between the traditional interior and a 90's modern structure.
The direction we took was a combination of calm beige color scheme with clean lines and smooth surfaces.
The continuation of the same materials throughout the house finally bonded all the different spaces into a singular home.
The two guest bathrooms were made with Cloe zellige style tiles and custom floating vanities made from white oak.
The same oak was used also for the built-in TV wall as floating shelves and base cabinets with a large, tiled center piece for the recessed TV and the electric fireplace.
The kitchen also received some of the white oak love in the form of the Island and the recessed cooking area.
The biggest issue with the kitchen space was the lack of proportions between the width and its length vs. the extreme height of the vaulted ceiling.
The solution I came up with was a secondary line of wall cabinets to be the same depth as the full height units to create a wrap around and make the space more proportionate.
Continuing to the master bathroom, here we have a true walk-in master bath suite, no door needed with this size of space.
All the walls received porcelain semi slab treatment. (72x36 porcelain tile) a lot of work went into selecting the correct tile pieces to give it the effect of a single slab installation but without the added cost.
All fixtures are by Kohler with their fantastic modern gold finish.
The result was a perfect flow of calm beige colors and warmth of natural wood throughout.

Armond Aquatech PoolsFond of their time spent traveling in New Zealand this pool was designed for the client around the concept of the unfurling of the fiddle head fern, a plant and symbol iconic to the Maori people native to New Zealand. The raised bond beam wall wraps around the back of the spa and terminates with a subtle sheer decent. A hammered copper fire pit and outdoor kitchen provide a peaceful area to either entertain or relax. This pool does this historic Chester County home (circa 1765) justice.

Pineapple House Interior DesignOn the far left of the windows, a new sliding glass door has replaced a set of windows that formed the bay. The designers wanted to grant immediate access to the home's most central deck, so they replaced the window area with the doors. They allow the homeowner to easily grill for the family and provides more roaming room for the pets. When open, it creates cross ventilation with the family/keeping room's doors when they are stacked back.
