In many Parisian apartment buildings, the water pressure can be quite low, which can make taking a shower or filling up a bathtub a slow and frustrating process. To combat this issue, many Parisians have installed water pressure boosting systems or use specialized showerheads that help to increase the water flow. Despite this challenge, however, Parisians continue to make the most of their bathroom facilities, taking pride in the functionality and style that their apartment bathrooms have to offer.

We took on the challenge of replacing an aging wooden fence with a sleek, modern vinyl alternative. The project involved removing deeply embedded concrete fence posts and managing every stage of the installation ourselves. With careful planning and a hands-on approach, we transformed the look and feel of the outdoor space. The result is a strong, low-maintenance vinyl fence that enhances privacy, boosts curb appeal, and modernizes the entire property. This upgrade not only added functionality but significantly elevated the backyard’s overall aesthetic.

Karen was an existing client of ours who was tired of the crowded and cluttered laundry/mudroom that did not work well for her young family. The washer and dryer were right in the line of traffic when you stepped in her back entry from the garage and there was a lack of a bench for changing shoes/boots.
Planning began… then along came a twist! A new puppy that will grow to become a fair sized dog would become part of the family. Could the design accommodate dog grooming and a daytime “kennel” for when the family is away?
Having two young boys, Karen wanted to have custom features that would make housekeeping easier so custom drawer drying racks and ironing board were included in the design. All slab-style cabinet and drawer fronts are sturdy and easy to clean and the family’s coats and necessities are hidden from view while close at hand.
The selected quartz countertops, slate flooring and honed marble wall tiles will provide a long life for this hard working space. The enameled cast iron sink which fits puppy to full-sized dog (given a boost) was outfitted with a faucet conducive to dog washing, as well as, general clean up. And the piece de resistance is the glass, Dutch pocket door which makes the family dog feel safe yet secure with a view into the rest of the house. Karen and her family enjoy the organized, tidy space and how it works for them.

Traditional master bathroom in need of both form and function update. Aging in place was a primary focus for the project. We changed out a large jacuzzi tub shower combination for large walk-in shower. The shower bench, handheld shower and grab bar make shower use universal. Lighted mirrors and an articulating shaving mirror boost visibility in the vanity area. Marble tile, both Carrara and Bardiglio, in various shapes add to the overall luxurious feel in the bathroom. For this wood siding replacement in Doylestown, PA, we installed new James Hardie planks. The existing wood was taking a lot of damage from woodpeckers, which leads to holes and cracks that can cause drafts or let moisture in. The homeowners wanted to keep a similar look, and we were able to match the colors perfectly, keeping the look of wood but the benefits of fiber cement. This means boosted durability, resistance to fading and cracking, and much lower maintenance needed.
