The Sylvias wanted to redo their kitchen to repair some old doors and flooring. They were happy with the lay-out and just wanted a update, so Ingram Bay Homes worked with Buddy and Patsy to give them the kitchen they wanted at the budget they could live with. Needless to say they are "Tickled Pink" and Patsy loves the custom drawer divider.

On our client's wish list was a game table where he and his buddies could play cards. The open-back style of the wool chairs and the light wood table and wall chest are contemporary elements in a transitional space that we accessorized with Western-themed metallic artwork.

No, it's not what you think...Steele isn't leaving Landscape Love to star in a buddy cop drama on TBS. It's a creative, beautiful makeover to the front entryway of this Kenwood home. We love working with these clients because they are always open to creative brainstorms and collaboration. With a guiding design principle of "clean, linear, modern" we created a new bluestone retaining wall with boxwood hedge, bluestone cut tile front walkway, and the kicker--a bluestone veneered front staircase with custom rusted cor-ten steel risers! We had a blast working on this project and love the way the tone + texture of rusted steel complements the bluestone.

Now this is the perfect place for watching some football or a little blacklight ping pong. We added wide plank pine floors and deep dirty blue walls to create the frame. The black velvet pit sofa, custom made table, pops of gold, leather, fur and reclaimed wood give this space the masculine but sexy feel we were trying to accomplish.

Out with the old.
As a designer of the digital age, Ferrer didn’t need to leave her laptop to reset this room with all the latest devices, décor and computer comforts of modern life. First thing Ferrer did was send the Colonial-style entertainment center off to the woodpile, via TruckBuddy. Next the sagging drab olive sofa and loveseat, bulky coffee table, 26” TV, DVD player, stereo receiver, five-CD changer, external speakers and other vintage electronics and furnishings, found new homes via craigslist. Then, it was time to refresh the scene.

On estate acreage near Montpelier, this home was inspired by a Southern Living farmhouse vernacular design brought to the architect by the owner. With South Carolina architect, Wayne Crocker, and a Texas client, Virginia based Smith & Robertson was pre-selected as the builder and collaborated with landscape architect Buddy Spencer to create this estate quality masterpiece.
