We chose a blue embroidered tiger print on a linen background to add some elegant whimsy, and hung it a bit lower so that light from the transom window would give some natural light to the small room!

In addition, we recovered an existing chair and a half in a fun new blue and cream leopard print!

Ashley Salmons InteriorsHere is the AFTER of the kitchen windows above the sink area! We did tailored valances, with flat fold Roman shades underneath to help block out some of the afternoon sun! The trim on the valances and the shades underneath are in a classic blue and white ticking. Mixing classics with modern prints is a great way to update, and still keep your traditional vibe!

We also installed these on a track rod, to make opening and closing the draperies each day a cinch! During the warm months, the draperies may be opened,completely clearing the doors, to reveal an attached outdoor room!
