The site stairs alongside the home are being installed. The stone treads pick-up on the stone base of the home, and the cantilevered treads recall the floating treads of the interior stair.
The path of the stair also abuts the footprint of the interior main stair, and responds to the step-down topography of the site.

SPACE LINE DESIGN ARCHITECTSSLDarch: The rugged Hajar Mountains ring the city while this rocky hillside setting offers great positioning to take in distant city lights set against the shimmering Gulf of Oman.
With careful positioning, we were able to preserving the existing mature trees and nestle this home against the rugged desert mountains. Major views orient towards the north guarding against the relentless summer sun while providing massive vista views and open floor plan. Here we have a delightful interplay of open rooms and multi-levels, connected by gentle steps, ramps, stairs and elevator.
Main living room has full ceiling skylight with deep geometric webs and reflective glass, allowing spangled sunlight throughout the interior spaces but blocking the excessive solar gain. Ample allocation for art display has been integrated throughout this home as well as a 1500 sf dedicated art gallery and two home office spaces as well as a built-in wood shop.
A spiral stair leads to the rooftop aerie for evening star gazing, relaxing and cocktails.

GappsiCooking Island and raised bar was Designed and built by Gappsi in Dix Hills NY. The semi-circle design of these outdoor kitchen incorporates many appliances, from the bar sink, grill, smoker, oven, refrigerator and a breakfast station and many access doors for storage areas. Walls were constructed of steel studs and cement blocks and then veneered with Fiorito travertine. The counter tops were made out of polished Brazilian granite and floor in between the 2 island are travertine French pattern Moca. All appliances are Twin Eagle also supplied by Gappsi. Bellwether Windows, Siding & DoorsThis split level property in Centennial, Colorado had T1-11 siding. The paint was peeling and the composite wood was swelling and flaking off in areas. This home needed some TLC.
Colorado Siding Repair installed James Hardie’s primed Sierra 8 Panel Siding to match the current look. Once the new siding was in place, we painted the whole house with Sherwin-William’s Duration. The homeowner chose Web Gray, trim in Early Gray, and the front door in Expressive Plum.
