There is seating for six in the home theater area. Rich wood of varying depths surrounds the screen. A small stage holds theater components and built-in cabinets on either side of the screen provide storage. One of two built-in seating areas can be seen in the distance. This awesome three level deck comes complete with it's own bluestone turret and gas fire feature. The elevated bluestone decking adds an unexpected natural texture; the mood of the setting is open air. The circular seating around the fire allows for conversation or quiet reflection. The outdoor kitchen was added to streamline entertaining, while answering the need for everyday convenience. EP Henry stone veneer topped with black granite countertops craft a rich kitchen setting likened to an upscale indoor design. The kitchen is complete with a Viking Grille, sink with a built in cutting board and built in storage. The island bar is built to party.

We built their deck and deck seating out of AZEK composite decking in Slate Grey. It features a double picture frame on the deck and single picture frame on the bench seating. This will be a lovely space for the customer to enjoy the outdoors in low maintenance on the comfort.

Deck - coastal deck idea in New York with no cover

This three-tier deck is many things to the lucky family in this suburban home. The top third level houses an outdoor grilling station and peripheral seating for up to six guests. The second level features a generous outdoor dining area with wrought iron table and table for four. Custom built in deck benches provide additional seating and sidebar access for dining convenience. Deck lights provide the slightest wash of warn LED outdoor light on the vertical wood posts which house the black iron rail posts. The bottom level is a fully protected rain deck, for when Mother Nature decides to temporarily interrupt their outdoor family fun.

Lagoon-side property in the Bel Marin Keys, Novato, CA. Entertaining and enjoying the views were a primary design goal for this project. The project includes a large camaru deck with built-in seating. The concrete steps and pavers lead down to the water's edge. I included a sunken patio on one side and a beautiful Buddha statue on the other, surrounded by succulents and other low-water, contemporary plantings. This inner-city garden was designed to meet the needs of a young family who like to entertain but still required solutions for storage and off street parking. Key to the design was connecting the two different areas of the lower courtyard with the upper carstand area. A solution was obtained through constructing an intermediate landing with built in seating and a new gas BBQ. An open style steel balustrade allows for safety between the two areas and visually takes full advantage of the depth of the property. All-weather protection provided by retractable awnings to both upper and lower areas ensures year round enjoyment. Sliding doors in the garage help the generous storage recede into the design. Spotted gum hardwood timber decking extends the internal areas outside and the wrap around steps further connect the spaces by providing an inviting entry to the BBQ area. A large floating timber bench seat is both practical and breaks up the large retaining wall to the upper carport. A grey and white colour palette provides a sophisticated look whilst highlighting punctuations of playful colour and contemporary styling to link the children’s play areas with the home.

Our RHS Show Gardens can be seen here. At the 2008 Tatton Park Show we received a Bronze Medal for “Suspended Thoughts”. A year later we received a coverted RHS Gold Medal for our garden “A Place For Waste”. The garden used waste products and recycled materials to create a unique sustainable garden that received much interest from the television and media. We returned to the show in 2011 creating a minimalist garden built using sustainable materials sourced locally, adding a Silver Gilt Medal to our growing list of awards.
