Perched on a knoll atop a lakeside peninsula, this transitional home combines English manor-inspired details with more contemporary design elements. The exterior is constructed from Doggett Mountain stone and wavy edge siding topped with a slate roof. The front porch with limestone surround leads to quietly luxurious interiors featuring plaster walls and white oak floors, and highlighted by limestone accents and hand-wrought iron lighting.

All new beams under deck, 2ft oc center joists got switched to 1 ft on center. Deck got lagged to house. Drag straps installed.

This was a renovation project. Existing lattice was in deteriorated condition and was removed and replaced with 6" cedar boards. Structural elements were also repaired or replaced. The boards were stained in Cabot's Exterior Wood Stain in Cordovan Brown. The structural elements were stained black to offer contrast. Better photos to come!

When the huge green ash (seen in earlier photos) collapsed it was replaced with three new maples. The cedar fence with semi-transparent white stain could not hold up to Seattle's long wet winters. It was sanded and repainted with two coats of Cabot's solid body white stain.

This beautiful home in the natural setting at Coveney Ranch, Boerne, needed some updating and improvements to restore and revive it. We did this by expertly prepping the surfaces prior to applying new paint colors of 2 coats Sherwin Williams Conflex and Duration. The back porch needed repairs and cleaning before applying Cabot Australian Timber Oil Stain Sealer to the surfaces. As well, both the front and back doors were stripped, sanded, and exterior surfaces receiving Cabot stain and two coats of Spar Urethan

New 36" high clear red cedar fence and posts are a custom design. The wood was so beautiful we couldn't paint it. We pre-stained each piece with one coat of Cabot's oil base "white" semi-transparent stain. Corner posts are 1 x 8 cedar over a 4 x 4 post. Caps are one-piece and peaked to drain.

A top coat of Sikkens SRD stain in Cedar was applied by brush to all surfaces.
