Full Bloom Cottage19th century Louis XV style French polychromed armoire of demi-cartouche section; the arched and molded pediment carved with curling acanthus and roses; the single door inset with a nicely shaped and fully bevelled mirror. Rounded sides inset with shaped panels, the tendril carved aprons centred by flowers and leaves evolving into acanthus carved cabriole legs. Overall coloring of the armoire is a deep rich blue with wonderful aged patina. There is some flecking of the polychrome, the silvering some-what degraded as to be expected of its age. They wanted a modern yet comfortable and livable style throughout the inside of the house, with large windows allowing one to soak up the beautiful nature that surrounds the home. It features an open concept and plenty of seating for easy entertaining, beautiful artwork that is meaningful to the homeowners, and bright splashes of color that keep the spaces interesting and fun.

We upholstered this in a natural linen, finished with a double welt trim. Quite unique, a one of a kind piece. The overall shape is more oval and we have included an Ariel photo so you can be the beautiful shape of this piece. This is ready for everyday use, very solid and sturdy, great for an entry, or dressing room. This is an antique piece, please note that there are some areas where the carving has a small missing piece. We have photographed this for you to see. As with all antique and vintage pieces, these flaws come with the piece and are part of its character, and history.
