New Floor Plan: We collaborated closely with our client to design a new floor plan that maximizes space and improves functionality. The layout ensures a seamless flow, making the bathroom feel more open and inviting. 2. New Tile Flooring: We installed beautiful new tile flooring that not only enhances the aesthetics of the bathroom but also provides durability and easy maintenance. The chosen tiles add a sophisticated touch to the overall design. 3. New Vanity Installation: A sleek, modern vanity was installed, complete with ample storage and a stylish countertop. The clean lines of the vanity contribute to the contemporary look of the space. 4. New Lighting Fixtures: Updated lighting fixtures were added to brighten the space and create a warm, welcoming ambiance. The new lighting highlights the bathroom's features and adds to the modern feel. 5. New Plumbing Locations: We reconfigured the plumbing to accommodate a new toilet location and a state-of-the-art three-head shower system. This required precise planning and execution to ensure optimal performance and convenience. 6. Hand-Tiled Shower and Shower Niche: Our team meticulously hand-tiled the expansive shower, including a custom shower niche for added storage. The attention to detail in the tiling work creates a stunning focal point in the bathroom. 7. New Exhaust Fan with Bluetooth Music Capability: To enhance the functionality and enjoyment of the space, we installed a new exhaust fan equipped with Bluetooth music capability. This innovative feature allows for a relaxing and enjoyable experience every time. 8. Three-Head Shower System: The installation of a luxurious three-head shower system provides a spa-like experience in the comfort of home. This system includes adjustable settings for a personalized shower experience.

A sleek free standing propane fireplace replaced an oversized gas fireplace that was situated on a wide brick hearth that was very good and tripping people. By removing the hearth the dining area became more spacious and better capable of seating large groups. The existing kitchen was in a word, "stuck" between the family room, mudroom and the rest of the house. The client has renovated most of the home but did not know what to do with the kitchen. The space was cut off from the family room, had underwhelming storage capabilities, and could not accommodate family gatherings at the table. Access to recently redesigned backyard was down a step and through the mud room. We began by relocating the entrance to the yard into the kitchen with a French door. The remaining space was converted into a walk in pantry accessible from the kitchen. Next we opened a window to the family room so the children were visible from the kitchen side. The old peninsula plan was replaced with a beautiful blue painted island with seating for 4. The outdated appliances received a major upgrade with Sub Zero Wolf cooking and food preservation products. The visual beauty of the vaulted ceiling is enhanced by long pendants and oversized crown molding. A hard working wood tile floor grounds the blue and white colorway. The colors are repeated in a lovely blue and white screened marble tile. White subway tiles frame the feature. The biggest and possibly the most appreciated change to the space was when we opened the wall into the dining room to connect the disjointed rooms. Now the family has experienced a new appreciation for their home. Rooms which were previously storage areas and now integrated in to the family lifestyle. The open space is so conducive to entertaining visitors frequently just "drop in" In the dining area, we designed custom cabinets complete with a window seat the perfect spot for additional diners or a perch for the family cat. The tall cabinets store all of the china and crystal once stored in a back closet. Now it is always ready to be used. The last found space is now home to a refreshment center. Cocktails and coffee are easily stored and served convenient to the kitchen but out of the main cooking area.

Inspiration for a laundry room remodel in Minneapolis

This expansive Victorian had tremendous historic charm but hadn’t seen a kitchen renovation since the 1950s. The homeowners wanted to take advantage of their views of the backyard and raised the roof and pushed the kitchen into the back of the house, where expansive windows could allow southern light into the kitchen all day. A warm historic gray/beige was chosen for the cabinetry, which was contrasted with character oak cabinetry on the appliance wall and bar in a modern chevron detail. With using the walnut cabinets, we tried to keep the sizes as uniform as possible but there were some aspects the client wanted. One of those was the corner appliance garage. Hiding these necessary evils in a beautiful cabinet with easy accessibility was the perfect marriage.

The location and placement of the Japanese Tea House is very specific and was based on mathematical, metaphysical and spiritual principles. This Tea House is an artistic version of an authentic style Tea House. It is meant to be a one of a kind art piece and yet has the functional capability of holding a traditional Tea ceremony.
