Fujiya Mansions was designed for a family that has a very distinct eclectic taste. The flat was designed to be a retreat within the city. This was accentuated by covering the beams with reclaimed wood and refinishing the floors with natural oak. The decorative furniture pieces are a mix of new and old. The scenery in Pearl Gardens is stunning due to the abundance of lush greenery throughout. We installed solid wood ceiling beams to complement the tranquil vibe and add some rustic charm to the space.

This wardrobe is designed to look light and airy, in contrast to bulky storage pieces. It is featured as a sustainable piece with its low VOC materials such as bamboo, rattan, and formaldehyde-free wood veneer. It also has light sensors that aid you in seeing your belongings when you open them!

The custom made teak-framed bed is designed both for sunbathing and shade, with a retractable cloth awning. The the teak deck, screen and arch were also custom made. Transformable chairs change from floor space into wooden lounge chairs. The two rusted metal safes were found in the apartment before renovation by Liquid Founder, Rowena Gonzales and were kept as decorative side tables. Potted plants add a green element to the rooftop, and copper planters maintain the sleek atmosphere. Wireless surround sound and integrated home automation system.

The main materials used in the flat are white painted walls, the warm colored walnut flooring, warm grey wall accents and natural stone. The corridor features frosted glass doors that bring a lot of natural light to the previously dark entrance.

‘Sunset In The Woods’ was the creative inspiration for the complete interior refurbishment of this 1,800 sq ft three-storey home in Clearwater Bay, Hong Kong. Following this concept we have created a beautiful, natural home with an eco-chic luxury feel. We’ve carefully selected and installed non-toxic materials and furnishings throughout every part of our design. So this home has excellent air quality low in VOC’s, an essential part of a really healthy home. The wellbeing of our clients is also supported through circadian lighting in the bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen includes a fast composting machine so food waste can quickly nourish the garden. The property has views of lush tropical foliage and the outdoor spaces create the perfect transition areas to reconnect with nature in the home, increasing wellbeing and reducing stress.

We were asked to help transform a cluttered, half-finished common area to an organized, multi-functional homework/play/lounge space for this family of six. They were so pleased with the desk setup for the kids, that we created a similar workspace for their office. In the midst of designing these living areas, they had a leak in their kitchen, so we jumped at the opportunity to give them a brand new one. This project was a true collaboration between owner and designer, as it was done completely remotely.
