One of oldest houses we’ve had the pleasure to work on, this 1850 farmhouse needed some interior renovations after a water leak on the second floor. Not only did the water damage impact the two bedrooms on the second floor, but also the first floor guest room. After the homeowner shared his vision with us, we got to work bringing it to reality. What resulted are three unique spaces, designed and crafted with timeless appreciation. For the first floor guest room, we added custom moldings to create a feature wall. As well as a built in desk with shelving in a corner of the room that would have otherwise been wasted space. For the second floor kid’s bedrooms, we added shiplap to the slanted ceilings. Painting the ceiling white brings a modern feel to an old space.

Inspiration for a 1960s formal and open concept living room remodel in Atlanta

Luxurious modern take on a traditional white Italian villa. An entry with a silver domed ceiling, painted moldings in patterns on the walls and mosaic marble flooring create a luxe foyer. Into the formal living room, cool polished Crema Marfil marble tiles contrast with honed carved limestone fireplaces throughout the home, including the outdoor loggia. Ceilings are coffered with white painted crown moldings and beams, or planked, and the dining room has a mirrored ceiling. Bathrooms are white marble tiles and counters, with dark rich wood stains or white painted. The hallway leading into the master bedroom is designed with barrel vaulted ceilings and arched paneled wood stained doors. The master bath and vestibule floor is covered with a carpet of patterned mosaic marbles, and the interior doors to the large walk in master closets are made with leaded glass to let in the light. The master bedroom has dark walnut planked flooring, and a white painted fireplace surround with a white marble hearth. The kitchen features white marbles and white ceramic tile backsplash, white painted cabinetry and a dark stained island with carved molding legs. Next to the kitchen, the bar in the family room has terra cotta colored marble on the backsplash and counter over dark walnut cabinets. Modern Interior featuring Miami baseboard and crown molding. This unique Art Deco molding combines a broader step design with a sloping, rounded line. This crown molding's design allows for two installation options: extended onto the ceiling, the stepped design seems to continue on, lending to the illusion of a recessed ceiling. If Miami crown molding is extended down the wall, it softens the sharp edged corners of the room, and gives a graceful "layered" look

We designed and renovated a Mid-Century Modern home into an ADA compliant home with an open floor plan and updated feel. We incorporated many of the homes original details while modernizing them. We converted the existing two car garage into a master suite and walk in closet, designing a master bathroom with an ADA vanity and curb-less shower. We redesigned the existing living room fireplace creating an artistic focal point in the room. The project came with its share of challenges which we were able to creatively solve, resulting in what our homeowners feel is their first and forever home.
