I was tasked to take a modern farmhouse floor plan that our client loved, and make it modern to fit into a certain neighborhood.

We drew inspiration from traditional prairie motifs and updated them for this modern home in the mountains. Throughout the residence, there is a strong theme of horizontal lines integrated with a natural, woodsy palette and a gallery-like aesthetic on the inside. The narrow site challenged the design team to create a modern home that blended within its surroundings and maximized its views of the lake.
