This galley style kitchen is a chef's delight with a comfortable golden triangle, exceptional appliances and functional features in the cabinetry.
The European style frameless cabinetry consists of premium hard rock maple melamine boxes, doors and drawer fronts, finished in a weathered slate spray stain with satin finish lacquer. Features include soft-close cabinet doors and blu-motion slides in the drawers.
The perimeter counter tops are organic white quartz. The rectangular glass tile back splash selection further complements the glass and stainless steel of the cabinetry and appliances, tying the entire look together. The sleek stainless steel appliances integrate perfectly with the clean lines of the European style cabinetry, and are a perfect complement to the adjacent upper cabinetry section of stainless steel hinged glass doors. Even the oven door handle mirrors the sleek styling of the stainless steel drawer and door pull hardware on all the cabinetry.
The addition of decor accents in vibrant orange and red adds interest and character to the cool colour palette of the neutral grey tones in the cabinetry and finishes.

Embracing an authentic Craftsman-styled kitchen was one of the primary objectives for these New Jersey clients. They envisioned bending traditional hand-craftsmanship and modern amenities into a chef inspired kitchen. The woodwork in adjacent rooms help to facilitate a vision for this space to create a free-flowing open concept for family and friends to enjoy.
This kitchen takes inspiration from nature and its color palette is dominated by neutral and earth tones. Traditionally characterized with strong deep colors, the simplistic cherry cabinetry allows for straight, clean lines throughout the space. A green subway tile backsplash and granite countertops help to tie in additional earth tones and allow for the natural wood to be prominently displayed.
The rugged character of the perimeter is seamlessly tied into the center island. Featuring chef inspired appliances, the island incorporates a cherry butchers block to provide additional prep space and seating for family and friends. The free-standing stainless-steel hood helps to transform this Craftsman-style kitchen into a 21st century treasure.

This four bedroom beach house in Washington's South Sound is all about growing up near the water's edge during summer's freedom from school. The owner's childhood was spent in a small cabin on this site with her parents and siblings. Now married and with children of her own, it was time to savor those childhood memories and create new ones in a house designed for generations to come.
At 3,200 square feet, including a whimsical Crow's Nest, the new summer cabin is much larger than the original cabin. The home is still about family and fun though. Above the 600 square foot water toys filled garage, there is a 500 square foot bunk room for friends and family. The bunk room is connected to the main house by an upper bridge where built-in storage frames a window seat overlooking the property.
Throughout the home are playful details drawing from the waterfront locale. Paddles are integrated into the stair railing, engineered flooring with a weathered look, marine cleats as hardware, a boardwalk to the main entry, and nautical lighting are found throughout the house.

The small "old fashioned" 1920's kitchen was outdated by today's standards for the client who loved this look, but not the inconveniences that went with it.
The original breakfast room and butler’s pantry (after much discussion concerning honoring the original floor plan!) was incorporated into the new space by removal of the wall that separated them from the kitchen. The final result is tasteful and functional and in keeping with the classic 1920's look.

A small existing kitchen is opened in both directions with an eclectic assortment of white, gray, and natural wood to create a new look and a fresh sense of connection to the outdoors. The feel is still casual and a bit country to feel at home with the existing windows and character.

Absolutely stunning in detail, this home features a rustic interior with vaulted great room using reclaimed timber beams that provide immediate depth and character. The centerpiece of the retreat is an inviting fireplace with a custom designed locking screen that compliments the warm stone used throughout the interior and exterior. The showstopper is the dual Lowen bi-folding doors that bring the outside-in, while the phantom screens provide a barrier from the elements when needed. Our private estate has an expansive entertaining spaces with a one-of-a- kind built-in grill that connects to the main home while below, on the lower level, a beautiful pool and gazebo.

This powder room is given more of a feminine flair. The multi-color abstracted floral pattern wallpaper adds the right amount of color and pattern. Simple polished nickel sconces with bamboo detailing and white linen shades flank either side of the round mother of pearl mirror. A white glazed ceramic elephant stool from Serena and Lily finishes the space with a bit more character.
