Shabby chic, traditional, cutting-edge contemporary...whatever classification you choose to place this kitchen in, there's no refute it's GORGEOUS! Though the island clearly steals the show, the open floor plan allows for ease of maneuverability and plenty of room for entertaining.

Well-traveled. Relaxed. Timeless.
Our well-traveled clients were soon-to-be empty nesters when they approached us for help reimagining their Presidio Heights home. The expansive Spanish-Revival residence originally constructed in 1908 had been substantially renovated 8 year prior, but needed some adaptations to better suit the needs of a family with three college-bound teens. We evolved the space to be a bright, relaxed reflection of the family’s time together, revising the function and layout of the ground-floor rooms and filling them with casual, comfortable furnishings and artifacts collected abroad.
One of the key changes we made to the space plan was to eliminate the formal dining room and transform an area off the kitchen into a casual gathering spot for our clients and their children. The expandable table and coffee/wine bar means the room can handle large dinner parties and small study sessions with similar ease. The family room was relocated from a lower level to be more central part of the main floor, encouraging more quality family time, and freeing up space for a spacious home gym.
In the living room, lounge-worthy upholstery grounds the space, encouraging a relaxed and effortless West Coast vibe. Exposed wood beams recall the original Spanish-influence, but feel updated and fresh in a light wood stain. Throughout the entry and main floor, found artifacts punctate the softer textures — ceramics from New Mexico, religious sculpture from Asia and a quirky wall-mounted phone that belonged to our client’s grandmother.

While the architecture evokes the familiar footprint of a traditional barn, the floating black volume defies simple classification through its asymmetrical ridge and the playful positioning of extruded windows. It evokes the classic, while simultaneously becoming a dynamic representation of elegant modernism.

View from the Motor Room to the Lower Media Room and Mezzanine Lounge. The mezzanine is supported by the exposed yellow steel beam, with a Lavatory and Laundry / Utility facility behind the sliding door mounted on blue walls made of Polycarbonate. The mezzanine window is 24 feet wide. The Lower Media Room includes a Ball Chair by Inmod, an 80” television, white table and Tulip chairs by Eero Saarinen, a red “Alda Lamp” by Gaetano Pesce, and a bubble hockey game.

Green Walls installation, just outside Sarasota Fl, in a large business estate, comprising of lots of companies at the top of their industry and at the cutting edge of technological advances. And what better way for them to make a great first impression upon your arriving staff and clients than to welcome them with a Vistafolia® wall in reception.
The business park decided to proceed with our products for several reasons. One reason was that they were able to come and see us at our facility and get a great feel for how the wall would look. Our team was able to show them exactly how the system worked, as well as showing them all the different customization options available. Another important factor was the best-in-class fire classification held by the product. Our Bs1d0 rating is designed to meet even the strictest of building control standards and leaves every customer with complete peace of mind. After all, no one should ever have to compromise on safety.

A refined material palette modernizes this conventional 60′s ranch-home’s yard. Repetition of materials like stone, ipe and concrete combine beautifully to form a bold and contemporary garden.
Layered walls perform double duty as both sculpture and a way to define gathering spaces. Contrasting leaf textures and hues harmonize with the hardscape, and plant masses add their colorful statement to the canvas.
