We were thrilled to be working again with these long-time clients in Villanova, PA, to create a two-room wine cellar. This entailed renovating an existing part of their basement and adding an additional room. The best part about this project? The second room is accessed through a secret door! We designed the mechanism that opens the secret door:the door is opened by pressing the cork of a certain wine bottle. This 8,000-bottle capacity wine cellar features all redwood custom-built shelving, and redwood, glass top display tables. The first room has a redwood paneled ceiling and porcelain tile floors. The second room's ceiling is made from reclaimed wine barrels and the beams are made from cherry wood. The floors are reclaimed brick laid in a two-over-two pattern. This project is a case of a client living in Italy. The client's home is an 80-square-meter apartment. The client lives alone and favors a refined and atmospheric Nordic decoration style, predominantly in shades of white. The furniture in the client's home is mainly white and wooden, complementing the white walls and light wooden floors, creating a cohesive and harmonious overall look. The client's request for this project was to select a Nordic-style pendant lamp for the dining area. Given that the kitchen is an open space, the dining area is quite spacious. We recommended the client to purchase two pendant lamps to achieve optimal localized ambient lighting. Aligning with the Nordic theme, we introduced the latest Nordic UFO pendant lamp to the client. It is white and features four layers of disc-shaped lampshades, stacked atop each other, creating a modern and futuristic aesthetic. Upon receiving the products, the client expressed that the pendant lamps perfectly matched her requirements and she was very satisfied with the outcome. This bright mudroom has flagstone patterned, limestone floors that offer radiant heating. White beadboard and a custom-made built-in seat give the space a clean look. The wood cabinets open into a full closet. The cabinet doors were actually reclaimed from the homeowner’s storage and restored and modified to use for the cabinetry! This is a case study of a client living in Hong Kong. The client's residence is a 100-square-meter home. The client approached us with a requirement to find suitable lighting fixtures for their entire house. The home decor style combines modern design with a mix of natural wood and Scandinavian influences. The client wanted to select different pendant lights for each room - the living room, dining room, two bedrooms, and balcony. They wished for these pendant lights to perfectly match the style and complement each room, while also being budget-friendly. For the living room, the client desired a touch of Chinese-style wooden accents. Hence, we selected a bamboo-woven pendant light with a Chinese design. As for the balcony, the client wanted a consistent style with the living room, so we chose a double-layered bamboo-woven pendant light. For the two bedrooms, the master bedroom leaned towards a predominantly white color scheme, so we opted for a white Scandinavian-style pendant light. The second bedroom had a focus on natural wood, so we selected a wooden pumpkin-shaped pendant light. For the dining room, which had an overall modern white theme, we chose a white Macaron-style PH5 pendant light. Interestingly, during the process of selecting lighting fixtures, the client also became interested in our multifunctional robot-inspired five-layered dressing table. They ultimately decided to purchase and install it in the master bedroom. Upon receiving the products, the client expressed their satisfaction with how well the lighting fixtures aligned with their requirements. We are delighted to share this case study with everyone, hoping to provide inspiration and ideas for their own home renovations.
