The idea for the creation of this clock began while listening to 'Clair de lune' by Debussy. The fascinating melody and the image of moonlight inspired the artist. This cuckoo wall clock, ‘Moontime’, has captured the poetry of this magic moment. The subdued lights, the peace and quiet of a ‘midsummer’s night’ where the atmosphere becomes ironic with amusing images: the calm, detached and relaxed cat observing the daring canary popping in and out of the wide open cage. This cuckoo clock is made of black painted wood, the artwork is white with a very simple design which is quite childish yet elegant, recalling a type of vintage style. The moon is depicted very simply as if seen through a small round window where the cat is sitting and where the hands of the clock are placed. Situated below the window is the open cage where the cuckoo mechanism is positioned and on the hour the canary pops out to defy the cat. The base has a linear motif and a vase with a plant, from this base a black pendulum hangs, completing the work of art. It has a quartz mechanism with a photosensitive sensor that automatically turns off the cuckoo sound in the absence of light.

Perfect for a porch or patio, the Metro Station Double Sided Outdoor Clock and Thermometer by Studio Designs Home is crafted with a durable, metal bracket and frame. The clock frame is hinged and has a latch which allows access to the battery housing. The classic dial thermometer tracks both Celsius and Fahrenheit degrees. The clock face and thermometer dial rotate a full 360 degrees. Weather resistant and is recommended for covered outdoor spaces. Requires one AA alkaline battery (not included).

Fatti+inlà (Move over a bit!) is a creation by Andrea Grattaroli of Studio Kuadra and is an example of his fertile creativity. The design represents an imaginary row of birds on the ledge of a building. One of the birds, the cuckoo, pushes its way out of its house taking its place in the row. The inspiring concept is quite simple but the final result is very elegant. This clock can be hung on a wall or placed on a surface. The twenty-two wooden birds are all handmade and are aligned on two perfectly balanced wooden blocks. The twenty-third bird chirps every hour moving forward and bowing. Two very fine hands tell the time. The clock comes in two versions: black with white hands or white with black hands. It is made of wood and is varnished with non-toxic paint. The back of the clock is in metal which facilities hanging and gives a stylish finish to the whole item. The battery run cuckoo mechanism has a photosensitive sensor that automatically turns off the cuckoo sound in the absence of light. It also has a switch to regulate the volume of the cuckoo sound or to switch it off completely.

Long_time marks the passage of time with the peace and quiet of the long pendulum swing that characterizes it. Developed vertically, is made from the cubic structure of the clock, wood white, red, green or black, at the top, from which extends a long pendulum white. Made in wood. Battery quartz movement.

Crooked, designed by Alberto Sala, is an amusing cuckoo clock of unconventional style with crooked and uneven shapes that intensify its impactful design. The recurrence of uneven shapes and cheerful colours skilfully mixed by the designer and applied from the base to the roof of the cuckoo 'house', make it unique. The round pendulum which is also coloured, is the only shape we are familiar with. It appears almost unnaturally at the tilted base of the clock highlighting its dissymmetrical shape. The clock is made of wood and is varnished with nontoxic paint. It is available in four versions: the first two are orange and red or green and navy, the third and fourth have a wooden element and are made in pale wood with blue and navy details or dark wood with red and green details. It features a quartz mechanism, battery run, with an intelligent sensor that automatically turns off the cuckoo sound in the absence of light.

Our customer Loren in McKinney, Texas, bought this Brittany antique clock from us at EuroLuxHome.com.
The antique French longcase clock dates to about 1880 or 1900 and it is crafted in chestnut wood. The beautifully carved antique clock case shows detailed scenes of rural life in Brittany France. Pressed brass flowers around the enamel clock face and sunflowers on the clock pendulum suggest that the antique French clock was probably made as a wedding gift!
Carved grape leaves also symbolize good wishes and abundance for the newly married couple.
The Brittany style antique French clock still strikes the hour and half hour with a pretty strike.
