Bryan Chavez Photography River City Custom Homes - RounTrey - 2015 Homearama Farmhouse with a Modern Vibe Gold Winner - Master Suite Aware of the financial investment clients put into their homes, I combine my business and design expertise while working with each client to understand their taste, enhance their style and create spaces they will enjoy for years to come. It’s been said that I have a “good” eye. I won’t discount that statement and I’d add I have an affinity to people, places and things that tell a story. My clients benefit from my passion and ability to turn their homes into finely curated spaces through the use of beautiful textiles, amazing lighting and furniture pieces that are as timeless as they are wonderfully unique. I enjoy the creative process and work with people who are building their dream homes, remodeling existing homes or desire a fresh take on a well lived-in space. I see the client–designer relationship as a partnership with a desire to deliver an end result that exceeds my client’s expectations. I approach each project with professionalism, unparalleled excitement and a commitment for designing homes that are as livable as they are beautiful.

Our clients’ beautiful island home has a deep relationship to nature. Every room in the house is oriented toward the Lake Washington. My favorite part of the design process was seeking to create a seamless feel between indoors and out. We chose a neutral and monochromatic palette, so as to not deflect from the beauty outside. Also the interior living spaces being anchored by two massive stone fireplaces - that we decided to preserve - we incorporated both rustic and modern elements in unexpected ways that worked seamlessly. We combined unpretentious, luxurious minimalism with woodsy touches resulting in sophisticated and livable interiors.

The Champagne Estate Crystallized Glass Mesh-Mounted Mosaic Tile is frost resistant with water absorption of less than 0.5% to satisfy most surfacing demands. This beautiful tile features a crystallized glass with seemingly 1.3 in. x 6 in. arrangement of tile strips in a pattern on 11.18 in. x 12.6 in. mesh sheet that makes installation a much easier process. This tile has a unique mosaic design with an attractive combination of handsome brown, warm beige shades and slight variation in tone to coordinate with a variety of design schemes. Designed for wall use, this impervious glass tile features an unglazed, high-sheen finish to help enhance your decor.

Complimenting the beautiful Colorado fall colors, this Montana Timber Products home features prefinished ranchwood™ Tackroom, Circle Sawn texture as a vertical installation. - The beautiful ranchwood Tackroom color, along with the vertical installation and stone work, combine for a painter's pleasure with the fall birch colors. - Our flagship product, ranchwood™ is Montana Timber Products' chemical free, kiln dried, alternative milled rough stock wood. As an ideal reclaimed lumber alternative, the aesthetically pleasing rustic barn wood ranchwood™ is the result of an environmentally safe production process. Offering uncompromising natural, rustic beauty, ranchwood™ is typically less expensive than antique reclaimed barnwood. - Combined textures solidify into a beautiful rustic brew. - A custom millwork shop, Montana Timber Products offers many options to the customer's delight. Circle Sawn and Wire Brushed are Montana Timber Products' common cedar siding texturizing options. The Circle Sawn texture commonly seen on rustic reclaimed barn wood is created from the large circular saw blades used in more traditional milling practices. The Wire Brushed option adds physical and aesthetic depth to the wood grain. In addition to the aesthetic beauty added from the texturing process, greater surface area is created, which allows the Seal-Once, 100% NO VOC waterproofer to more effectively penetrate the wood. Guarneteed for ten years, Seal-Once prevents water ingress and is safe for exterior and interior use, children and pets. - Sophistication is no stranger to rustic application if done properly, as seen here with distinct lines and harmonious collaboration of wood and stone. - If the environment is important to you, Montana Timber Products natural wood siding, trim, flooring, interior accents, timbers, beams -- all of our wood products -- do not use degenerative chemicals as some other companies do to achieve desired effects. Reclaimed wood, barn wood alternatives, and faux vintage wood are popular building materials further exemplified by Montana Timber Products environmentally friendly manufacturing technique.

"TaylorPro completely remodeled our master bathroom. We had our outdated shower transformed into a modern walk-in shower, new custom cabinets installed with a beautiful quartz counter top, a giant framed vanity mirror which makes the bathroom look so much bigger and brighter, and a wood ceramic tile floor including under floor heating. Kerry Taylor also solved a hot water problem we had by installing a recirculating hot water system which allows us to have instant hot water in the shower rather than waiting forever for the water to heat up. From start to finish TaylorPro did a professional, quality job. Kerry Taylor was always quick to respond to any question or problem and made sure all work was done properly. Bonnie, the resident designer, did a great job of creating a beautiful, functional bathroom design combining our ideas with her own. Every member of the TaylorPro team was professional, hard-working, considerate, and competent. Any remodeling project is going to be somewhat disruptive, but the TaylorPro crew made the process as painless as possible by being respectful of our home environment and always cleaning up their mess at the end of the day. I would recommend TaylorPro Design to anyone who wants a quality project done by a great team of professionals. You won't be disappointed!" ~ Judy and Stuart C, Clients Carlsbad home with Caribbean Blue mosaic glass tile, NuHeat radiant floor heating, grey weathered plank floor tile, pebble shower pan and custom "Whale Tail" towel hooks. From the street, it’s an impeccably designed English manor. Once inside, the best of that same storied architecture seamlessly meshes with modernism. This blend of styles was exactly the vibe three-decades-running Houston homebuilder Chris Sims, founder and CEO of Sims Luxury Builders, wanted to convey with the $5.2 million show-home in Houston’s coveted Tanglewood neighborhood. “Our goal was to uniquely combine classic and Old World with clean and modern in both the architectural design as well as the interior finishes,” Chris says. Their aesthetic inspiration is clearly evident in the 8,000-square-foot showcase home’s luxurious gourmet kitchen. It is an exercise in grey and white—and texture. To achieve their vision, the Sims turned to Cantoni. “We had a wonderful experience working with Cantoni several years ago on a client’s home, and were pleased to repeat that success on this project,” Chris says. Cantoni designer Amy McFall, who was tasked with designing the kitchen, promptly took to the home’s beauty. Situated on a half-acre corner lot with majestic oak trees, it boasts simplistic and elegant interiors that allow the detailed architecture to shine. The kitchen opens directly to the family room, which holds a brick wall, beamed ceilings, and a light-and-bright stone fireplace. The generous space overlooks the outdoor pool. With such a large area to work with, “we needed to give the kitchen its own, intimate feel,” Amy says. To that end, Amy integrated dark grey, high-gloss lacquer cabinetry from our Atelier Collection. by Aster Cucine with dark grey oak cabinetry, mixing finishes throughout to add depth and texture. Edginess came by way of custom, heavily veined Calacatta Viola marble on both the countertops and backsplash. The Sims team, meanwhile, insured the layout lent itself to minimalism. “With the inclusion of the scullery and butler’s pantry in the design, we were able to minimize the storage needed in the kitchen itself,” Chris says. “This allowed for the clean, minimalist cabinetry, giving us the creative freedom to go darker with the cabinet color and really make a bold statement in the home.” It was exactly the look they wanted—textural and interesting. “The juxtaposition of ultra-modern kitchen cabinetry and steel windows set against the textures of the wood floors, interior brick, and trim detailing throughout the downstairs provided a fresh take on blending classic and modern,” Chris says. “We’re thrilled with the result—it is showstopping.” They were equally thrilled with the design process. “Amy was incredibly responsive, helpful and knowledgeable,” Chris says. “It was a pleasure working with her and the entire Cantoni team.” Check out the kitchen featured in Modern Luxury Interiors Texas’ annual “Ode to Texas Real Estate” here.
