This crisp kitchen design is a fresh take on the classic white kitchen. Situated on Pentwater Lake in Michigan, this kitchen features high pressure laminate cabinets in Designer White along the sink wall and Melamine island cabinets in Natural Rustik from Eclipse Cabinetry by Shiloh. White quartz countertops keep the design clean while custom stainless island legs add a bit of industrial flair. We commissioned this piece for our client with a Houston based artist we collaborate with frequently, Claire Richards. She does fantastic work, and her scale is typically very large, which isn't always easy to find. Transporting such a size of artwork can be interesting! We hired a U-haul, and transported it from the studio, straight to the client's home. Inspiration for a contemporary dining room remodel in New York

This is a piece that we commissioned on behalf of a client with the very talented artist, Ann Carrington. Ann, based in England, creates stunning pieces of art using beads, buttons, seeds, sequins, metal and other materials. She also creates stunning and whimsical sculptures. For this piece, we found an image of an Indian postage stamp showing The Golden Temple of Amistrar, modified the image for our artistic purposes, and then hand selected the deep indigo fabric from a choice of many, as well as the type of pearlized button used here. The image is hand sown with thousands of the buttons onto the purpose made fabric, and then framed inside a simple, but effective, acrylic frame/ shadow box.

The owners commissioned a ceramic artwork by Talia Silva for the living room's cherry-framed, south-facing wall.
