Inspiration for a timeless two-story brick exterior home remodel in Nashville

This project was during my junior year of high school where I was enrolled in Interior Design for the whole school year. In this class we learned about the Interior parts of a building and how to apply each type of floor plan in a building: electrical, plumbing, ect. This picture is of the first level floor plan. Here on either side there are classrooms for each grade, specifically 2 per grade. In the middle of the floor plan is the cafeteria/common space. To add more of a fun and creative element to the cafeteria, I added folding walls to separate every 2 lunch benches, but they can also be moved around due to being on wheels. The front office, that consists of the principals office, bathrooms and the nurses office is on the 'bottom' of this picture.

Gardens are a central theme in many oriental rugs, and the Cypress is a symbol of great importance. Its shares some of its symbolism with the Tree of Life as a connection to Paradise, but also represents eternal life. History of This Design: Originating in what was the Azerbaijan region of ancient Persian dynasties, Afshar rugs are an excellent example of nomadic Persian rugs. Traditionally made by nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes near the Persian town of Kerman, these rugs employ deep reds and blues and motifs that reflect many aspects of their hunting and herding lifestyles (one common medallion is believed to represent a stretched animal skin, other motifs depict chickens). Star-like medallions and floral motifs are also common within the Afshar repertoire.

Chuck Williams and Kenny Fenton This amazing space was designed from the framing stage. It has all the first class amenities a five star home could have. The fire place is stoned with a spilt face 2 x 3 travertine veneer. It features a two sided or commonly known as a double sided fire place, that can be seen from the dining and formal living space. The modern skulls are custom art pieces made exclusively by Sweetlake Interiors. The art work in this fabulous home was featured in the Smithsonian and purchased by the home owner. The furfure was custom made to fit the space. The entry features a marble tile rug inlayed with hand cut herringbone pattern. The stair rail is custom designed and made from iron. This was a well planned space.
