Large transitional formal and enclosed medium tone wood floor and brown floor living room photo in Seattle with white walls, a standard fireplace, a concrete fireplace and no tv

Rather than starting with an outcome in mind, this 1,400 square foot residence began from a polemic place - exploring shared conviction regarding the concentrated power of living with a smaller footprint. From the gabled silhouette to passive ventilation, the home captures the nostalgia for the past with the sustainable practices of the future.
While the exterior materials contrast a calm, minimal palette with the sleek lines of the gabled silhouette, the interior spaces embody a playful, artistic spirit. From the hand painted De Gournay wallpaper in the master bath to the rugged texture of the over-grouted limestone and Portuguese cobblestones, the home is an experience that encapsulates the unexpected and the timeless.

We gave this industrial time capsule an urban facelift by enhancing the 19-century architecture with a mix of metals, textures and sleek surfaces to appeal to a sassy & youthful lifestyle. Transcending time and place, we designed this loft to be clearly confident, uniquely refined while maintaining its authentic bones.

Crisp Stira quartz has the classic look of Carrara marble. That's a 2 " mitre edge detail with 3 x 6 subway from Arizona tile. The advantage of marble would be you can place a hot pan on natural stone, whereas the resins in quartz can potentially burn. We remind our clients to be careful around the holidays or gatherings where a family member or friend may try and "Help" the cook. Even crockpots can potentially do some damage that can't be polished away.

This lovely west Plano kitchen was updated to better serve the lovely family who lives there by removing the existing island (with raised bar) and replaced with custom built option. Quartzite countertops, marble splash and travertine floors create a neutral foundation. Transitional bold lighting over the island offers lots of great task lighting and style.
